• Equipment– Tape Library ADIC Scalar i2000 with:

2 LTO-3 drives licenses for 200 tapes (80 TB) Extensible to 1,3 PB

– Backup software Commvault Installed on a Sun Fire V20z server (the only Opteron of HellasGrid to

date :-), Windows 2003 server, Linux agents • Procurement extensions

– Addition of an extra LTO-3 drive– Total final awarded amount 119.800 €

• The Library will be activated as soon as the electrical installations are complete in NDC

• Tapes (we might make some use of them...)– 100 tapes will be procured within April 2006 to populate half of the

library (40 TB)

• Installations– FORTH, NDC, GRNET completed– AUTH will be installed along with the Hellasgrid node (June 2006)
