BREAK REMINDER WATCHINTRODUCTION

With increasing busy lives, more and more people spent most of each of

day sitting in a chair in front of the computers; our fingers are the only

part of our body moving with any intensity. By using this break reminder

watch more people will take break on time because sitting too long bring

a serises of disease, such as chest pain, headaches, pain on back and

neck, sore eyes and suffering with anxiety, even more serious will cause

cancer. While the function with reminder watch is quite simple, but it

remind people to take break on time effectively.

3. BUSINESS SECTION

3.1 Vision

Our vision is “If you do not time to take break there will be time for

illness” . The Break Reminder Watch is a smart wareable device that offer

an effective solution to help people take break for sitting too long in a

chair in front of compters. In addition, it monitor your health condition

using a sensor, Let you clearly understand your own physical condition at

any time

wearable device market have huge same

types of proudct such as Nike's FuelBand,

Jawbone and so on.Therefore, the customer

get the many choice. As this reason the

buyer power is high (Burnham, 2013).

Supplier power: Low In smart wearable device industry there are

plenty of suppliers of wareable device who

produce similer device in market, customer

have many choices such as Samsung

Galaxy Gear,Martian 2G2, I’m Watch and so

on. For this reason the supplier power is low

(Carter,2013).

High It is very easy to enter the smart wearable

device industry, because if there is new

software develpoer can design a new and

improved software build in the device in

short of time, then it is easy to entry this

industry. For example, Apple’s iWatch and

Google’s Google Glasses get ready to entry

this industry (Tode,2013).

High People can choose using smartphone apps

or computer software. There are plenty of

break reminder apps and reminder software

can replace it, such as smartphone apps

Overall attractiveness of the industry: People use this smart

wearable device to reminder themself to take break and get some

movement on time. Although with industry analysis, in a sense, smart

wearable device is a kind of smaller version of the smartphone. While the

function of these wearable devices cannot compare favourably with smart

phones, tablets, but these smart wearable devices still has always been to

attract customers. Overall it still has a certain attractiveness of the

industry.

3.3 Customers and Their Needs

Customer is people who is sitting too long in the chair and people who do

really care about health, such as office worker who need to sitting in the

office to use computer to work from 9am to 6pm, the Universy student

always sitting too long in front of compter to study. Because siiting too

long bring a serious disease so people need this break reminder watch to

reminder them to take break to keep a good health condition, this device

provider the reminder function to let people take break on time.

3.4 The Product and Service

Break reminder watch is a device help you stay on top of all the

responsibilities in your life. It is a watch fitting in with the latest styles;

You can set up your own break models, and the reminder can either be a

song, message, or vibration; the different part of this watch from existing

similar products is that even you did not set up the break model, it can

still alert you and force you to take a break; if the watch detect that you

have been sitting there too long, it will start singing and vibrating, and it

will not stop if you keep sitting there without standing up to stretch

yourself for a break.) In addition, the watch can also monitor your health

conditions from time to time; the sensor on the watch can check your

pulse rate, measure your body temperature and calculate your heart rate.

The device can be connected to user’s smartphone via blue tooth, if the

watch detects that your body condition is out of normal range, it will notify

you immediately and send message to your GP or your family.

3.5 Suppliers and Partners

Supplier can be software developer.Because inside of watch we running a

software to develiver our service. We need software developer to support

the device and service. The cloud storage service is other supplier,

because when the watch detects with the abnormal health condition, it

will send message to the GP, we need use the cloud storage serive to

supply a space to storage these messages.

Our partner can be a watch manufacturer, we build in the lastest break

reminnder software system in the watch, and the manufacturer can

support this and also can produce the latest style of watch. We need to

sell the watch and service in the market and deliver the watch to the

costomer, so the local delivery company can be our partners as well.

3.6 Strategy: Cost Leadership Strategy

Board market: this break reminder watch offer the service to all of the

people who care about health.

Low cost: we are selling items for the lowest price on the market, because

our smart wearable device not have too many function, the main function

just reminder people to take break, therefore, our device will focus on the

costs of device are fundamentally lower relative to the competition.

The overall strategy is therefore: Cost Leadership Strategy

3.7 Value Chain Activity: Market and sell the product or service

The most important value chain activity for this business is Market and

sell the product or service. These activities include the advertising,

channel selection, product promotion, selling, product pricing, retail

management, etc. The activite are performed to make sure that the

products are transferred to the targeted customer gruops.

3.8 Business Processes

3.8.1. Watch Order Process – We use this process to let customer to order

break reminder watch from us. Customer take phone order, and then take

credit card process to pay it, if the credit card payment passed, we check

address with customer in the system, if the credit card declined, our

customer service team will contact with customer and correct problem. If

the address not correct, our customer service team will contact with

customer to correct address, and then enter data to the computer, the

packing department will printing invoice and shipping label, and then

packing watch, shipping the watch to customer, customer will received it.

3.8.2. Advertising Process – we use this process to promote break reminder watch. We are looking for advertising company to design promote adverting for break reminder watch, if an advertising creative is good, the marketing department will choose which media more efficient, if the advertising creative is not good, we will required more advertising creative from designer, and finally choose a best one to publisher it.

3.10.1. Watch Order Process System – The system that support sales order

processing, captures order data from customers directy, entry data into

the database and sends order information to the accounting and shpping

departmt and help understand activity in a bussiness (Ingram, N/A).

3.10.2. Advertising Promoting Process system –We use advertising to

promote our breaker reminder watch, this system is to help us estimate

the effect of advertising in the market.

3.10.3 Marketing Research System – The system is a method for reviewing

marketing strategies and choosing the best one. The system that help us

to handle customer interaction. We can collected right information about

customer’s need, and help us use these information to analyse market

and improve our product and make more sells.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, although the smart wearable device market is highly

competitive, I still believe our break reminder watch can help people to

solve the problem and take break on time and keep a good health

condiction even thought our device do not have too many functions.

Through the analysis of the industry allow us to better understand

consumer’s needs, but also the product can better serve consumers.

Know the importance of suppliers and partners, but also indepth

understanding of what our marketing strategy, through the value chain

activity analysis, to understand how the business process and board

system are functioning in the market.
