Verbs that you see everywhere!You can use the verb tener in lots of different
situations:
Tengo una serpiente. (I have a snake.)
Tengo dos hermanas. (I have 2 sisters)
Tengo doce años. (I am 12 years old.)
Tengo el pelo negro. (I have black hair.)
Tengo los ojos negros. ( I have black eyes.)
Tener is what we call a high-frequency verb.
Learning verbs like this will help you to say a lot
more in Spanish!
