It’s recommendable to apply on time for a room in a public student resi-dence. (www.studentenwerk-aachen.de/wohnen/).2-3 months before semester starts, the IFO also publishes a list of accom-modations. But as we have a small number of rooms, it is better to look for a room by oneself. There is also the possibility to rent a furnished room from a German student, who is abroad for one or two semesters (this is called Zwischenmiete): www.wg-gesucht.de

Before lecture time | In September and March, 2 weeks intensive German language course (free of charge for exchange students)

During lecture time | German language course for foreign students (free of charge), 4-8 hours per week
