SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
1. Information Security
Web application firewall
- Resolving minor issues as necessary.
2. Civic Platform
Version 10 testing underway.
3. OnBase – Electronic Document Management
EO/DO Approval:
- Production validation testing underway. Go-live to follow.
4. Development Projects
Police and Fire Pension:
- Conversion from mainframe to .NET.
- 70% complete.
Diversion Services:
- Report and track payments to Diversion Services.
- Internal site in production on April 1st. Public site go-live on April 15th.

ENTERPRISE SERVICES PROJECTS
VoIP Upgrade
VoIP backend server and software systems will be upgraded to vStack V7. Implementation is complete.
VoIP Telecom trunks will be changed to SIP from T1 ISDN after hardware/software upgrade completion.
ConvergeOne and Windstream are defining required IP Network configuration. ConvergeOne and Windstream are preparing and planning cutover to SIP Trunks. 785 DIDs (external numbers) have been cutover to SIP Trunks.
Waited 5 weeks for Windstream to fix Fax Lines moved in error to SIP.
Windstream has made absolutely no progress on working towards completion.
Microsoft 365
Exchange Email SPAM processing is being evaluated and options tested.
OneDrive proof of concepts and testing are being made.
Presence concepts and framework are being developed.
Virtual Infrastructure
Upgrade
VEEAM Backup and Replication - release update
Backup Processing and Repositories are being reprogrammed for load balancing and network security adjustments.
VMware vSphere - release upgrade planning for version 6.7
vCenter upgraded to VCSA 6.7.
Microsoft Azure cloud services are being evaluated and tested.
Site-to-Site VPN connection is being made to Azure Cloud.
NetOorking Public Locations Oith Allo
New Routers are configured and ready for Allo and IPC to integrate Allo services to Information Services Enterprise Network.
Physical connection point will be OCIO 501 Building (State Data Center).
Network interface/integration has been made with Allo.
First site, 1318 "M" Parking Garage, is now online with our network.
Additional sites authorized to connect are Highlands Golf and Parks NE Shop.
Email SPAM and MalOare
Working a proof of concept with Microsoft ATP - Advanced Threat Protection Options for staff education and training are being investigated.
New Information Security Officer will be the point person on this.

o Working with Purchasing for adding 206 additional AVL devices to all LTU fleet vehicles
o Current Departments using LiGO AVL

o Working with ESRI to configure use of AVL devices within the GeoEvent Processor for
more effective display of existing vehicles, and longer term storage of routes taken
• Decision Lens
o Work with LTU and Decision Lens for creating\configuring a more ‘data-driven, decision
making tool’ for prioritizing transportation projects. Purpose for this is to use repeatable,
defendable processes to prioritize projects.
• Conduit\Fiber
o Working with LTU, Olsson & Ptarmigan Software to migrate our GIS data into a
Conduit\Fiber management system. This will allow our data to be used to show open
conduit paths, and dark fiber paths, as well as various reporting capabilities throughout
our system.
• Crash App
o Working with LTU & HDR on the data workflow and web { HYPERLINK
"https://lincoln-crash-app.azurewebsites.net/" } for ‘crashes’, which would allow easier
access to data for intersection studies.
• Clip Zip Ship Update
o Working with LTU & ESRI to update our “{ HYPERLINK
"https://www.lincoln.ne.gov/aspx/both/gis/czs" }” app used by developers.
• LIMS Integration
o Working with Water Dept., ESRI, and ATL Labs, to create a web map which allows the
Water Dept. staff to visualize water testing throughout the City. Ie – chlorine levels as of
a date in time, shown in a heat map.
• NE GIS\LIS Symposium
o I am a board member & on the conference committee. This is a biannual event, and is
being held April 23-25 in LaVista, NE.
• Sarpy County Flooding – Drone Flights
o Offered mutual aid to Sarpy County by flying imagery for a few areas;
