Reporting the Findings

• Example: Ali is given a task to search about “history of computers” and write a homework about it in high school.

History of ComputersThe development of the modern day

computer was the result of advances in technologies and man's need to quantify. Papyrus helped early man to record language and numbers. The abacus was one of the first counting machines. .

Some of the earlier mechanical counting machines lacked the technology to make the design work. For instance, some had parts made of wood prior to metal manipulation and manufacturing. Imagine the wear on wooden gears.

Reporting the Findings History of Computers Developments in the technology resulted

with the today’s modern computer. It is emphasized that the basic principle that started the idea of computers is counting.

The first counting device is known as abacus. Early counting machines were mechanical and do not have any technology. Even wood were used in the old abacus before metal part usage.

Reporting the Findings

• Example: Ali is given an assignment to write a paper about “history of computers” in university.

20.04.23 25

What Ali should do?

1.Search for information from different resources

2.Find at least 5 resource

3.Write one page paper by combining findings from that 5 resource.
