Once they are enrolled, incoming students have the possibility to register individually for elective courses according to their interest and timetable.

Written examination for the curricular courses of the 5th year

Students coming for the winter semester only can register for the written exam SIP5a for the attended courses during the semester break (middle of February).

Students coming for the whole academic year or the summer semester only can register for the written exam SIP5a for the attended courses at the end of the academic year (end of June/beginning of July).

Learning Agreement Starting with the academic year 2020/21, the Medical University of Vienna will exclusively use the Online Learning Agreement (OLA). Students will be invited to prepare their OLA during the application procedure based on a sample Learning Agreement prepared in Mobility-Online (the OLA does not have to be submitted by April 30th). When entering their course selection and preparing their sample Learning Agreement in Mobility-Online, students have to enter the details of each course and/or clinical clerkship of the planned semester programme, both at the host institution and the home institution. Example: Selected course at the host institution (Medical University of Vienna) with the required fields Course unit code, Course unit title, and Number of credits The same three fields Course unit code, Course unit title, and Number of credits have to be entered for the corresponding course to be recognized by the home institution upon successful completion of the course (e.g. 5DIPLMNEUR) at MedUni Vienna. Students have to refer to their home university’s International Office for the details of the courses to be recognized by the home institution. As host institution, MedUni Vienna is not involved in the recognition procedures of the home institutions.
