APRIL 2012Dear friends, we thank you all who visited us in our both in fro-zen Nuremberg. It was very nice to see you there. Also, thank you for your time and your patience for the presentation of our information and ordering system. I hope we will better under-stand each other now!

Our production flag ship for April will be the quarter scale Bf 109E ROYAL CLASS edition kit. Please note the final pro-duction figure will be decided upon the pre-order figure with just a small reserve, and it is planed this kit will be available in very limited time. So backorders are not expected. Please place your pre-orders as soon as possible and remember, all the previous six ROYAL CLASS kits were very good sellers, some of them even bestsellers. My mind is, that a conservative order should reduce the chance for your good incomes, and a late preorder received after the closing the preorder figure could cause reduction of your requested quantity.

We move our kit packing line and kit store to new facility out-side of the Eduard headquarters building. This could cause some delays in dispatching of the orders. Also, there will be some changes in the shipping conditions applied during March and April. We will inform you about the details in separate e-mails.

April is the month for new Royal Class kit, Bf 109E in 1/48th scale. This release has an internal code-name Königsemil here in Eduard. The kit contains two sets of plastic parts, large color PE sheet, twice of course, as well as mask sheet. Decals printed by Carto-graf, 12 painting options. There will be two ex-tra bonuses in the box, the kit of the instrument panel in ¼ scale, and a styled metal potty. All the Royal Class kits were always very good seller, you surely remember the Fw 190A-8. This Königsemil surely offers higher value per price than the previous kits in this line, and it is expectable it will be good seller too. Except this leader, we release three more kits. Two of them, F6F-5 Hellcat late (ProfiPACK,

8224) and Bf 110E (Weekend, 84144), repla-ce longer time sold out kits, although these new items aren´t identical to the old ones. The third, respective fourth, April release is the final ver-sion of the small MiG-21, MiG-21BIS in 1/144 scale. So who bought the PE set for this kit al-ready in March, he can complete the assembly right now! You can see that we are absolutely serious with our target to shortage the time be-tween the kit release and the accessories for such kit as most as possible. The timing happen extremely well in the case of the MiG-21BIS in 1/144 and the PE set for this kit, because the PE set was released already in March! You can see, that we got the distance between kit and accessories to the negative figure!

26 new sets, with four BIG ED assemblies, plus six ZOOMs. Note two sets for Raiden (Hasegawa) in 1/32nd scale. We bring also the I-16 set for our own kit in quarter scale. There are two sets of the different palm leafs among the April releases. Remember what was the biggest attraction of the Eduard booth in Nuremberg? Yes, our etched color flowers, animals or kitchen accessories. In 1/72nd scale, except the aircraft sets, we continue with releasing of the photoetched and colored model bases with various aircraft carriers deck structure. This is anything similar like vegetable sets in 1/35th scale, these bases are simply eyecatching items! Except these two NAVY sets, you can find also five ship sets, all in the 1/350 scale.

There are five very nice 1/48th releases for April. BIG SIN for our MiG-21BIS is the sure leader, Pratt and Whitney R-2800-10 engine for Eduard 1/48th scale Hellcats follows. There are also the set of the wheels for Bf 109E. The plastic ones in the kit aren´t so bad, I can even say that these plastic ones are not bad, they are maybe beautiful. But the Brassin ones could be surely even better, and there will be plenty of customers around who need resin accessories for their kits! The fifth set is the HVAR rocket set in quarter scale again. The set of six famous rockets is universal and it could be used with any kit, although this set was designed to be preferentially used with Eduard´s Hellcats too.
