Information Communication Technology Officer
The position of Information Communication and Technology Officer is currently vacant. The Information Communication and Technology Officer will report directly to the Chief Information Officer and will form part of the Office of the Information Communication Technology Division.The total remuneration package for this position is R564 980.00 per annum (cost to company).The Information Communication and Technology Officer will provide support to the Chief Information Officer through the implementation of the following Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
• ensure constant monitoring of the ICT infrastructure and information systems and ensure that all systems, networks and infrastructure are functioning effectively;
• ensure all ICT operations satisfy the divisional and business requirements of different stakeholders;
• develop and implement an ICT Governance framework that seeks to achieve sound governance controls for the Scheme;
• provide maintenance and support for all business applications and coordinate the implementation of new ICT projects.
Qualification requirements are: 1. At least a three-year degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or
equivalent 2. A postgraduate qualification would be advantageous 3. At least five years’ work experience 4. Knowledge of ICT Governance frameworks 5. Extensive technical skills 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 7. Ability to identify risks and challenges 8. Self-starter who is able to work independently
