After a very successful WAFIRA (Women Ad-

Research and Academia) training workshop in
April, 2016, I am happy to report that, the
DAAD Information Center Accra is already
thinking of another WAFIRA workshop for the
first quarter of 2017 (WAFIRA 2017). A
brainstorming meeting was held in June, 2016
to solicit for ideas from alumni. A steering
committee meeting was then held on the 8th of
September, 2016 to begin to work on a frame-
work and plan for the next workshop.

updates on this and other useful events and
training programmes of DAAD.

grammes of the DAAD.
