TECHNICAL MEETING:
The HMF/OC shall organize a Technical Meeting on 25 August 2016 to be held
at 17:00 Hotel Ramada. The FINA TWPC Commission shall chair this meeting.
RULES:
FINA Rules will apply with the Competition Schedule in accordance with
BL 9.4.7.2.2
DOPING CONTROL:
Doping Control will be conducted in accordance with the FINA Rules by a
WADA Accredited Laboratory.

ATHLETE MEDICAL SERVICES Will be at the pool SC “Moraca” where the competition is going to be held.
EVENT INFORMATION DESK The main information desk will be at the pool SC “Moraca” where the
competition is going to be held. There will also be information desks at the
airport Podgorica and in all hotels in which national teams, judges, delegates and
FINA officials will be accommodated.
ACCREDITATION, ACCREDITATION DESK
National teams will be able to take the accreditations at the pool SC “Moraca”.
Judges, delegates and FINA officials will receive their accreditation in the
hotels.
VISA INFORMATION According to list of national teams which we have now, four countries will have
to apply for visa: Egypt, South Africa, Colombia and China.

VENUE
FINA World Men’s Youth Water Polo Championships 2016 will be held at the „Open Pool of
Sport Center “Moraca” in Podgorica, which successfully hosted the Super Final of the FINA
Men’s Water Polo World League 2009.

SIX RIVERS ONE CITY
Podgorica is the capital and largest city of Montenegro. The wider area of Podgorica contains
10.4% of Montenegro territory and about 30% of its population. Podgorica is the main
crossroad in Montenegro, and it is near the ski resorts in the north of the country and seaside
resort on the Adriatic Sea.
Fertile Zeta plain, composition of the Zeta and Ribnica rivers with Moraca River, proximity to
the Skadar Lake and Adriatic Sea, favourable climate, communicative and strategic position,
made it possible for Podgorica to grow into the largest urban centre of Montenegro. It is not
just urban city, but the city that is the administrative, political, economic, scientific,
educational and cultural centre of Montenegro.

Podgorica is connected by a highway, just 54 kilometres long, which leads to the Montenegrin
coast, and 70 kilometres north is the first ski resort. Montenegrin main international airport
Golubovci (Podgorica) is 6 kilometres away from the city centre and is associated with
national and international airports. An alternative airport is the Tivat Airport, 70 kilometres
from Podgorica.
Therefore we are confident that Podgorica is the ideal host for the 3rd FINA World Men’s
Youth Water Polo Championships (18&U), because it has all the necessary resources from
infrastructure to human, to have these Championships organized at highest possible level.
With all mentioned, it should be noted that Podgorica and Montenegro are big fans of Water
Polo and that Water Polo its practically the number one sport in our country so we are
convinced the attendance of games will be very high, especially when the „gold sharks“ are
playing.

Each country is required to provide their National Anthem in DVD
format for use during the tournament.
The Organising Committee is not responsible for the provision of
National Anthems.
Each country is required to provide a National Flag for each team for
use during the tournament.
Each flag is required to be:
1.8 meters wide
0.9 meters high
