Harcourt Butler Technological Institute has always been a paragon and a source of inspiration in the field of science and technology, since 1921. It has maintained its conspicuous presence in the technical world. H.B.T.I. has a history of realization, fulfillment of necessities and advancement in the field of science and technology.

The ‘Department of Chemical Technology (Oil & Paint Technology)’, is the oldest department of H.B.T.I. Kanpur, established in 1923. The Department has sculpted numerous engineers, who had proved their mettle by becoming the souls and roots of various industries in the field of research both country and abroad, and are repatriating credit and fame to the department..

Paint technology department in association with PACT(students chapter) is going to organize a technical fest,TECHKROMA’11. TECHKROMA’11 will provide an excellent stage to all the engineers and technologists to showcase their excellence in the field of Coating technology.In TECHKROMA’11,special focus would be given to the promotion and development of ECO-FRIENDLY COATINGS.

Panel discussion : Here the top industrial pro’s along with academic experts will discuss how to promote ECO-FRIENDLY culture in paint & coating industry.

Tech-talk (Paper presentation): Books are mere objects. It is the human voice which provides them life . If you think you can provide wings to your thoughts then come and participate .

Techno vision(Poster presentation): The mighty walls of HBTI are waiting to be dazzled by your glittering thoughts in Posters.

Dumb –Charades: Being dumb and explaining your partner, it’s time to get acting skills out of you!!!

Dexter’s Den( Personality scan ): Are you sure you have enough gray matter to grab a hot job? If yes, then come in Dexter’s den where you will be undergoing through the keen eyes of H.R. experts.

Director’s Cut(Documentary) : If you are a movie maniac then we offer you a platform to be a director and actor at the same time.Bring in your ideas as a documentary and display your talent.

Quizzophrenia (Tech. quiz) : Are you a complete engineer?Do you have a perfect grasp over your fundamentals?Come and display your scientific and engineering knowledge.

Spellbee : Why ‘K’ comes in know and ‘P’ comes in pseudo?If you have overcome all these complications of English language then show and be rewarded!

Registration For students :1- Without Accomodation : INR 500 ( this will include delegate kit , participation in the event , participation certificate , lunch & tea for 2 days. )

2- With Accomodation ( Fooding & Lodging ) : INR 1200 ( this will also include fooding and lodging for 3 days and 2 nights.)
