Conclusion

• This research study is an initial effort to fill the void of valid and reliable informatics

competencies for current nurses. It is the first study to span four levels of nurses.

• Allowing us to suggest the categories of computer skills, informatics knowledge and

informatics skills that enable nurses to do their day to day job competently and

keep up with the rapidly growing technology in the field of healthcare.
