Project description:
During the last years, the financial crisis all over Europe, more youth are in NEET situation. The unemployment rates are in high percentages especially in the ages between 18-30. Youth are becoming demotivated, entering a negative psychological circle, which is reducing their employability skills and inhibits creativity. Many youth organizations are asked to respond to these new needs and they are experimenting with new, innovative, methodologies.
[Aim] The aim of this seminar is to exchange good practices and create new methodologies, which can assist youth organizations working with NEETs to develop socio-educational activities for their target groups.
Objectives:
- To identify the NEET issue in all its extend. - To reflect on the new needs youth organizations and their target groups are having. - To promote the exchange of best practices and the transfer of innovation. - To enable participants to reflect on the already successful good practices and develop new ones. - To better understand the use of self directed learning paths for NEETs - To create or develop an existing platform which will assist NEETs in finding job, training or educational activities. - To draft follow-up activities

In order to take part in this course you need to be an employee or an active volunteer in the
sending organization.
Which are the sending organizations:
If you are not an employee or an active volunteer of these organizations, please provide us
the name of the NGO, association or youth group you are active in.
