You want to be a bartender

You have just taken your first step to become a professional cocktail bartender.Bartending is one of the most fun occupations in the restaurant business. But be-ing a bartender is more than just a profession, it is a life style. Bartender Course100 hours of intense training

The course is four weeks long, from Monday to Friday and includes 100 hours ofintense training. The classes are held in a real life bar to get your whole experienceas genuine as possible. When your day begins, we start off with our theoretical

training, after going through techniques, spirits and glasses etc. theory will be putin to practice. Now it is your turn to create and serve the cocktails. But not to worry,you will get a lot of time practicing the recipes as we make every cocktail at least25 times!! After our training you will for example know the origin of Gin, the differences be-tween whiskey brands or who invented the cocktail Dry Martini. You will also learn the structure of the bar, how to garnish a drink, free pouring,working flair, mise en place (preparing your work station) guest psychology andlaws and regulations. The training eventually leads up to examination day. You will be tested in bothpractical skills and theoretical knowledge.

Our teacher Nicklas Hallbäck says: I would say we have the toughest Bar School on the market. During the class youwill learn 135 different cocktails and at the practical exam you need to do 18 of those in 18 minutes. That is why I know you will be the very best of bartenders when

 graduating. As earlier mentioned the training is intense, some students might find it hard tokeep up with all the information. We here at the school are therefore always athand to help and to guide you. But it is important that you will make an effort in

your time outside of school if you are determined to complete our training andreceive your diploma. Once you have the diploma will be ready for any job as a pro-fessionally trained bartender.
