Tab Description

Infinitives and Gerunds

Idioms

Sahil's notes have verbs that are normally followed by Infinitives and Gerunds. You can see that list on the 2nd or 3rd last page. I never found looking at the list helpful as you always see the answer infront of you, so I put together this tab. You can normally have infinitives refer to as "to do" e.g "agree to do". So if you see the verb "agree", you write "to do" in "Your Choice" column. The next column tells you whether you are right. Similarly, you "admit doing" something so I represented all the gerunds as "doing". Sometime you will have to use some other gerunds or noun to make sure that the whole thing makes sense. Just roll over to the dark column and see the actual value in excel for correct answer.

I did a similar exercise with the Idioms. The idioms are normally taken from pg. 111 of the Manhattan GMAT guide. I also made use of Sahil's and Spidey notes. See the values filled in for the first 2 rows. The beauty of this sheet is that you can insert examples in the last column, specify what's wrong, add more idioms etc.
