underlying design disciplines is followed by courses that balance visual exploration, theory,

applications, and technical design skills. We help you find solutions in branding, copywriting,

graphic design, photography, motion graphics, interaction design, packaging, 3D design, web

design, information design, unconventional advertising, design in advertising, ideation, and

innovation in advertising.

Painting : Repaint the worldThe range of innovative programs offered in our School of Fine Arts and Applied Arts gives you a

panoramic perspective opening the floodgates for new methods of visual communication and

expression. Here you can create fine art using centuries-old methods or by pushing the

boundaries of digital creativity. You will work in well-equipped, modern classrooms and studios,

and have numerous opportunities to exhibit your work on campus (in a variety of galleries and

student shows) or off campus at state and national level.

The Sculpture programme establishes a framework that encompasses the material, historical

and theoretical conditions of sculpture where students are supported to develop their own

practice. Our purpose-built studios serve as both working studios and exhibition spaces. We

believe in a very open approach to what is considered sculpture within the field of contemporary

art and encourage you to work at the margins of the discipline as well as at the core.

• BFA (Applied Arts, Painting, Sculpture), 10+2 from any stream or equivalent minimum passing 45% aggregate marks (40% for

reserved category) and pass the aptitude test.

• MFA (Applied Arts, Painting, Sculpture), Candidate should have passed the under graduation degree in BFA / BVA Applied

Arts, Candidate who has completed BFA-Bridge Course from any recognized University / G.D. Applied Art / Painting (10+1+4) can

apply with minimum passing 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category) and pass the aptitude test.

• Ph.D (Fine Arts, Performing Arts), PET conducted by MIT ADT University followed by Personal Interview & Presentation, minimum

passing 60% (First Class) in Post Graduation of Fine Arts or equivalent degree.

ELIGIBILITY :

The Internship program at MIT School of Fine Arts and Applied Arts has been integrated in our curriculum as a mandatory 6 Month long

project so as to help students identify and plan their career goals and paths. The academic Internship Program can ease the transition from

classroom to career from College to workplace, from student to employee. Through internships students can gain a real-world view inside

a particular industry or job before they devote significant time and money to qualify themselves for such positions. To become aware of

state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and professional practices in chosen career fields. Individuals can gain realistic expectations about

workplace demands and rewards.
