ECAWP Project Purpose
Create a new, local, sustainable, and drought proof drinking water supply for East County
Produce up to 30 percent of East County’s drinking water supply
Reduce future financial liabilities related to imported water supply cost and wastewater treatment and disposal
Reduce discharge to the Pacific Ocean

or larger diameter pressure pipeline and minimum 10,000 feet in length, one of which being welded steel pipe
● Design of at least one (1) conveyance project using trenchless construction methods of at least 500 feet in length
Within the past 10 years, DB entity’s Contractor completed:● Construction of at least three (3) conveyance projects, each
24‐inch or larger diameter pressure pipeline and minimum 10,000 feet in length, one of which being welded steel pipe
