Indonesia’s 2Q19 GDP Newly released Indonesia’s 2Q19 GDP slowed to 5.05% YoY from 1Q19 5.07% dragged by investment and net-export. Meanwhile , 2Q19 CAD widened to 3.0% of GDP from 2.6% of GDP in 1Q19 due mainly to trade & service deficit, seasonal pattern of dividend repatriation and higher debt payments, softer-than-expected GDP. We still expect another 25bps rate cut by BI and Fed in 2H19.
