Product - Risk Based Inspection (RBI)

Our RBI method is based on an in-depth evaluation of the risk of loss of integrity of confinements (RBI analysis) and an integration of RBI inspection measures into the inspection plans of the plant (RBI application).Our RBI follows procedures defined by TISCHUK or SHELL Global Solutions and used for oil & gas as well as chemical plants and other industrial plants.However, other specific procedures are followed if defined by the client.Our approach is based on a strong co-operation between the plant personnel and TUV experts. The process, which we follow is what we call a guided expert judgement, which is based on operational experience as well as a sound basis for the evaluation of possible degradation mechanisms. The RBI process is backed by appropriate software tools.
