Options: HIGH PRESSURE: For use with open plant cleaning systems and pressure washers with up to 100 Bar operating pressure. The Design flow rate is 13 litres/ min at 100 Bar

MEDIUM PRESSURE: For use with open plant cleaning systems operating up to 30 Bar water pressure. The Design flow rate is 25 litres/ min at 20 Bar

LOW PRESSURE: For use with open plant cleaning systems operating up to 6 Bar water pressure. It is used to dilute cleaning chemicals for application through spray equipment. The Design flow rate is 14 litres/ min at 4 Bar

Chemical Injectors

The applications for Chess Chemical injectors are many and varied but are typicaly used in washdown systems, water jetting, vessel filling and spraying equipment.CHESS Chemical injectors are manufactured from Stainless Steel and are designed to be used for diluting cleaning chemicals into water flowing through a pipe or hose system.

Supplied ready to accept quick connect couplings to plug into washdown services or built into bespoke equipment such as Central Hygiene system access points, belt washing and tray washing facilities.

A chemical metering system fitted with an Orifice Plate controls the chemical dilution ratio at all times.

Central Hygiene’s Chemical Injectors are manufactured from high quality Stainless Steel to ensure longevity of life.

The large range of options uniquely allows you to tailor the systems to suit your exact requirements.

n Available in single or twin dilution form

n Choice of suction hose colours

n A selection of Orifice Plates are available to customise the dilution value to your requirements


Twin Chemical Injectors are used to apply two chemicals and water in a sequence or for blending two chemicals together to form a bespoke solution at the point of use.n A positive off position on each valve

allows water to flow without chemical being added

n Choice of suction hose colours and a range of orifice plate options allow you to tailor the systems to suit your requirements

n A chemical metering system fitted with an Orifice Plate controls the chemical dilution ratio.

n Maximum chemical suction is 10% vol/vol subject to the characteristics of the chemical being similar to Water.

n The Chemical Suction connection is 6mm Hose barb

n The water Inlet and Outlet connections are 3/8” BSPP

TYPE AThe Chess twin chemical injector type A has a selector valve that allows two chemicals to be diluted in set proportions independently of each other. The two chemicals cannot inadvertently be mixed together.

TYPE BThe Chess twin chemical injector type B has two selector valves that allow separate chemicals to be diluted in set proportions independently of each other. Both valves may be opened at the same time to mix chemicals in specific proportions to form a custom made solution.Alternatively, valves may be opened and closed in a sequence to cause water and either chemical to be diluted and used independently.

Single Chemical InjectorsOur single chemical injectors are typically used in washdown systems, water jetting, vessel filling and spraying equipment.n Choice of suction hose colours and

Fogging Equipment

CHESS fogging equipment is made from precision components that are manufactured in the UK and fully tested in our own workshopsFogging equipment is used to disperse measured amounts of chemical and water into the ambient atmosphere, supersaturating the environment with a sanitising fog to combat airborne micro-organisms, wild yeasts and molds.

CHESS have produced a comprehensive range of sanitation fogging equipment specialised for closed hygenic areas. It provides an extremely efficient way of applying a film of sanitising fluid to structural surfaces and substrates.

Our fogging units and controllers disperse measured amounts of chemical and water into the ambient atmosphere, saturating the environment with a fog and lethal to bacteria and microflora, leaving surfaces hygienically cleansed.

As you would expect from a leading specialist in hygiene technology, CHESS fogging equipment is built to the most exacting standards so you know you’ll be using safe, reliable technology.

What is Venturi?According to the laws governing fluid dynamics, a fluid’s velocity must increase as it passes through a constriction to satisfy the principle of continuity, while its pressure must decrease to satisfy the principle of conservation of mechanical energy.

Our Fogging Equipment utilises the Venturi Principle and as such, there are no moving parts in our equipment. This ensures that the equipment has a long service life.


Fogjet Trolleyn Chess Mobile Fogging Trolley has

stainless steel nozzles and frame, white nylon wheels and polyethylene wetted parts, it is used to combat airborne micro-organisms,

n The Sanitising Fluid is drawn by venturie action from the vessel into the Fogjet nozzles when actuated by compressed air.

n The compressed air is conveyed in a closed system of pipework within the vessel. The vessel itself is not pressurised and there are no moving parts in the nozzles

Drum Top Fogjetn Chess Drum Top Fogjets will produce

a micronised chemical solution to supersaturate the ambient air in Chill rooms and Holding areas

n It is used with a diluted Sanitiser from standard 25 litre polykeg

n The Sanitising Fluid is drawn by venturie action from the vessel into the Fogjet nozzles when actuated by compressed air. The vessel is not pressurised.

n The nozzle, hose fittings and clips are made from stainless steel and as there are no moving parts in the equipment a long service life may be anticipated.

Foam cleaning equipment is used extensively in hygenic processes such as food manufacture, pharmaceuticals and other allied industries.The requirement for an effective cleaning regime in these industries receives a high priority, when combined with effective low to medium pressure rinsing, foam cleaning can deliver superior cleaning performance combined with reduced cost and labour time.

Correctly applied foams cling to all surfaces allowing extended contact times and the most effective use of the cleaning power available providing effective cleaning solutions for low to high operating pressures. When applied, foams are highly visible and it is easy to ensure that all surfaces are adequately covered.
