The system engineering was performed by our team at Newport, all the drive and PLC panels were built and tested in South Africa and a local contractor supplied and installed all new cabling.Overall project management and liaison with all parties was carried out by our South African Office


Upgrade of drives and PLC on Cold Mill at Hulamin

Existing ABB DC Drives on mill stand and coilers were upgraded, new ABB PLC added and all helper drives replaced with ABB Inverter drives
