Duplex stainless steels are standardized throughout the world
(ISO - ASTM - ASME - EN) for usein construction and pressure
vessels.
Industeel is ISO 9001 certified and approved by DNV - LLOYDS -
ASME - TV - NKK - BV etcIndusteel is NORSOK Rev 3 certified for UR
2205 (S31803), UR 2507 (S2750), UR 2507W (S32760).
Tested and used in many different industrial chemicals :
sulfuric, nitric, phosphoric, soda,...
Generally more resistant than the corresponding austenitics to
stresscorrosion cracking in chloride containing media. Duplex are
used foroil/refineries applications, in accordance with NACE MR0175
andAPI938C standards.
Excellent resistance to abrasive particles in flowing corrosive
slurries.Chemical application
Duplex stainless steels can be used for buildingand construction
in urban, industrial and marineenvironments.
They have also been tested in soils with differentresistivities,
permeabilities and chloride contents.
