When there is a fire, what you should do?

Stop all work!

Act immediately! Sound the alarm and shout FIRE…FIRE...

Give priority to your own safety

Inform the Emergency Response Team (ERT)

Put out the fire with a suitable fire extinguisher if it is safe to do so.

Do not try to extinguish the fire on your own

If you are not trained to fight fires, leave immediately and shut the door

Call the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia immediately by dialing 999.

Personnel who witness the situation shall immediately report to immediate Site Supervisor as follows:

Report to person in charge and Safety and Health Officer or Safety and Health Supervisor

Give first-aid and CPR (if necessary)/Call for first aider

Call ambulance (if necessary)

Cordon off the area

QHSE and HR Dept. shall be informed within 24 hours

Notes:The General Manager, Managing Director must be informed if involving fatal or major accident
