Manobos conduct their survey of traditional boundaries in Carmen, Cotabato. Recognition of traditional boundaries are important in the present political governance and territory issues and the peace process with the Bangsamoro.

Bae Inatlawan of Daraghuyan Ancestral Domain Community in Malaybalay, Bukidnon perform the prayer before the planting of strawberries. Strawberry plantlets were secured thru tissue-culture processes, assisted also by the Malaybalay City Agriculture Office.

The Higaonons of the Pamalihi Tribal Community in Misamis Oriental, work together thru pahina to prepare their nursery of endemic and indigenous tree species, to reforest their ancestral domain.

These are the natural resources of the Higaonons in Minalwang, Claveria, Mis. Or. That need to be protected and promoted, so that the tribes are able to sustain their livelihood and crafts.

Mentoring and building capacities of Indigenous Leaders; strengthening
traditional governance systems
Hands-on mentoring to the leaders, including the youth, and on-site discussion of the activities draws enthusiastic and inspired participation from the community. Sometimes community meetings are held by the side of the highway, like in Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental. But one can see the genuine interest of the tribes people, in the attendance of the members of the Council of Elders, to learn how to improve their livelihoods and systems to manage it.
