Consul General received by Baden-Württemberg State Minister Klaus-Peter Murawski at the State Chancellory in Stuttgart to discuss strengthening further already close relations between India and Baden-Württemberg.Consul General met in Regensburg with Mr. Axel Bartelt, President (Regierungspräsident) of Oberpfalz Region of Bavaria, and discussed cooperation with India especially in the fields of business, education and tourism. Regierungpräsident of Mittelfranken, Dr. Thomas Bauer visited Consul General and discussed further deepening relations between India and Bavaria by forging closer ties of Mittelfranken businesses, especially Mittelstand, and higher educational institutions with India.Expanding further the Indo-Bavarian relationship Consul General met Regierungspräsident of Niederbayern Rainer Haselbeck in Landshut and discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in business & higher education.

Consul General visited Ulm University and discussed with Prof. Dr. Michael Weber, President of Ulm University strengthening cooperation with higher educational institutions in India especially in areas of medicine and technology; and also issues of welfare of Indian students in the University. Consul General visited Institute for Indology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and discussed working together to promote Indology studies further in the region.

Spinach with potatoes .
Ingredients: 1 ½ cups boiled and pealed potato cubes 4 cups finely chopped spinach (palak) 3 tbsp oil, 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
Method: Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
Add the garlic ginger paste and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
Add the potatoes, toss gently and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Add the spinach, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Serve hot.

Amber Fort
Amber fort is located on a hill in Amer, Rajasthan. Just eleven kilometers from the city of Jaipur, the Amber fort is a major tourist attraction. Built in 16th century, the fort, which is also spelt as Amer fort, is a scenic marvel. It is situated right next to the beautiful Maota Lake. The fort’s majestic appearance and its geographical advantages make it a special place to visit. It is built using red sandstone and white marble and has been featured in Bollywood films. Sitting atop a hill, the com-plex is a blend of Hindu and Rajput styles. It is most famous for the Mirror Palace, a fabulous room with a pure glass ceiling so the queen could view the stars before she fell asleep. This complex was built by Raja Man Singh, Mirza Raja Jai Singh and Sawai Jai Singh over a period of about two centuries. This palace complex was used as the main residence of the Rajput Maharajas for a long period of time.
