Don’t miss out on all that the ITA has to offer this September! On the following pages are the details that will help you start planning now to attend the annual Educational Conference. This information is also available at www.indianatownshipassoc.org where you may also register and pay electronically. Each day as township officials, our job touches people with hope - whether it is by us providing them with assistance for a place to sleep, heat to keep them warm, food, medicine, etc. We also provide hope through the provision of fire and EMS services that respond to all types of disasters beyond fire protection including tornadoes and floods. We spread hope to our residents by referring hurting individuals to resources designed to get their lives back on track - job training and placement, overcoming substance abuse, or recover- ing from other trauma such as child abuse. Our theme for 2018 will first be played out in a day of enrichment and learning on Monday, Sep- tember 24. You will not want to miss our keynote speaker and many other presentations which will bring a message of hope that you can carry home.

We spread hope to our residents by referring hurting individuals to resources designed to get their lives back on track - job training and placement, overcoming substance abuse, or recover-ing from other trauma such as child abuse.

Our theme for 2018 will first be played out in a day of enrichment and learning on Monday, Sep-tember 24. You will not want to miss our keynote speaker and many other presentations which will bring a message of hope that you can carry home.

Be sure to keep an eye on your email for continuing details as they are confirmed. We will do our best to keep you informed these next few months.

SPREAD THE WORD Do you know of a trustee who has not attended an ITA conference or perhaps it’s been several years? If each trustee would reach out to these folks, we could grow our conference attendance and do our part in making township government better through education.

ATTIRE Keep in mind that the climate in large buildings is typically on the cold side. You might want to bring along a sweater or jacket to keep you comfortable. Most attendees wear business attire to the Awards Banquet and business casual attire throughout the rest of the conference.

DOOR PRIZES Receiving a door prize is fun, right? You help is ap-preciated in donating and/or collecting these prizes. You can donate personally, as a county group of trustees or ask the local companies with which you do business. ALL prizes have value! Drop them at the Registration table when you arrive at the conference.

CANCELLATIONS Conference fees are refundable until September 9th. Due to guarantees that must be given to the hotel for meals, we must adhere to this policy.

CONFERENCE PRICING We offer only “Full Conference” pricing due to contract requirements for minimum hotel food & beverage purchases. This allows the ITA to have ample meeting space free of charge.
