Who we are… ICDC is a non-profit organization that

provides technical support for cooperatives in the State of Indiana. The Center also supports the education throughout the state to improve knowledge and understanding of the cooperative model.

What we do… Provide technical assistance to newly forming and

existing cooperatives and other collaborative groups including: Group facilitation Planning and organizing Business plans Feasibility studies Market analysis Financial planning Legal assistance Serving as a linkage between the client and existing

resources

How we do what we do…

Cooperative Enterprise Network (CEN) ~ based on the service provision model used in Michigan, Montana and Nebraska. Currently comprised of economic developers specially trained in co-op development.

Housing Cooperatives

In a housing cooperative (or co-op), a housing development is jointly operated by its members. They own membership certificates in the corporation, giving them the right to occupy a dwelling unit and participate in the operations of the corporation. The cooperative housing corporation owns the total property. A not-for-profit corporation.
