Recent developments
The Indian Education System is generally marks-based. However, some experiments have beenmade to do away with the marks-based system.
In 2005, the Kerala government introduced agrades-based system in the hope that it will helpstudents to move away from the cut-throatcompetition and rote-learning
So the students will be able to focus on creativeaspects and personality development as well.

Conclusion
The purpose of this is not to provide anydetailed plan of educational reform. What isattempted here is only to indicate someimportant areas where immediate action isneeded.
It is my dream to see that India has universities such as Yale, Harvard and Cambridge.
