About the Company
Sagar Cements Ltd is a leading company of 25 years standing. The
company manufactures special type cement - sulphate resistant
cement(SRC). Its markets its produce as 'Sagar Priya' and sells
around 85% of it locally around Nalagonda, Khammam and in
Hyderabad. It has a clinker unit at Mattampally in Nalagonda and
two grinding units at Sallur and Bayavaram. It also acquired
'Amareswari Cements' which had a grinding capacity of 0.45 mtpa and
also limestone mines.

Current Projects
Vicat Sagar, the French cement major is planning to set up a
greenfield cement plant in Karjikhed & Burugupalli Village,
Chincholi village in Gulbarga district in Karnataka. It will add
two clinker production lines with dry process with a capacity of
5.5 mtpa and the first production line is expected to get ready by
2012. The first phase will entail an investment of 17,500 million.
The International Finance Corp, a member of World Bank group is
expected to invest Rs.4500 million in the project.

Deccan Cements was promoted by B R Raju of Nagarjuna Group
currently has a capacity of 1.8 million tonnes per annum. It has a
plant at Bhavanipuram in AP and caters to expanding cement market.
In 2008, the company had invested around Rs.4320 million to set up
a 18 MW captive power unit and expanded its cement capacity by 1
million tpa. It is also expanding its railway siding unit to move
cement by rail to cut costs.

'Kakatiya Cements Ltd' in 1979 by P.Venkateswarlu and equity
support from APIIC. It started with an initial capacity of 66000
tpa has been expanded to 297000 tpa now. Its technology is acquired
from Fuller, USA. The company's plant is situated at an Nalagonda
where there is rich lime stone deposits and the required coal is
procured from Singareni Colleries.

About the Company
Kesoram Industries Ltd is 9 decade old company incorporated in
1919 as Kesoram Cotton Mills, subsequently renamed as Kesoram
Industries in 1986. It got into cement manufacturing in 1969 at its
