Recently India and Indians got a great reason to celebrate as

the news came into the spotlight with the announcement by

google that Sundar Pichai will be the new CEO of Google. The

news spread like a fire and Indians went all crazy by

celebrating the achievement of Sundar with an infinite

amount of tweets, messages and shares in social media. Even

many dignitaries, Government officials, teachers of IIT

Kharagpur from where Sundar completed his engineering

wished him luck. Pichai was announced as the CEO of Google

on 10 August 2015.

India’s Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi also congratulated

him via tweeter “Congratulations @sundarpichai. My best

wishes for the new role at @google.” To which Sundar replied

“@narendramodi @google Thanks for the warm wishes and

hope to have the opportunity to meet you soon.”

Few months back Satya Nadella was appointed as CEO of

Microsoft. This event was also highly celebrated in India. He

was appointed as CEO on 4 February 2014. LN Mittal is the

richest businessmen in England is also an Indian. The owner of

Arcelor Mittal is the largest steel-making company in the

world.

Playing the biggies in the IT sector world over, Indians have

proved their mettle. So how can the Middle East be left

behind. Personalities like P Mohamed Ali, Mickey Jiagantia etc.

are making their marks in Dubai, Oman etc. P Mohamed Ali

SAOG, established in year 1972 with only 5 men as his labours

P Mohamed Ali worked so hard that today Galfar is biggest

private employer in Oman with around 27,000 people as its

employee and also P Mohamed Ali has ventured in India

through Mfar Construction and has many projects under its

wings. Another business tycoon in the Middle East is from

Dubai Micky Jagtiani, his Landmark Group is now one of the

Gulf’s biggest retail empires, with 900 stores in 15 countries.

Its turnover is $3.2 billion per year, employing 31,000 staff.

Both are listed as the richest Indians in Gulf.

Way to go, Indians are everywhere and they own it all!
