India Sudar encourages students from government primary schools especially from ruralvillages of Karnataka and some of the homes in Bangalore by providing Note books and Stationery required fortheir studies every year. We continuing this NOTE BOOK DRIVE (NBD) for Third Conseqecutive YearYear 2010 is something special for us as We distributed all notebooks to all school in One Day

Team 7: Nagaraj(IS), Shambhu(Aviratha NGO) distributed notebooks for Mill Area, Venkateshwara Badavane,Kodenhatti govt. schools parallely.

Team 8 : Aviratha NGO Team : Distributed note books to 32 Govt. schools by 137 Aviratha Volunteers in 38 Carsspread across 9 Clusters.

Events/Activities/Visit to Schools & Homes

Distribution of Materials to Children in the Pneuma Trust, Madurai [IS Tamil Nadu]Date: 27 th June 2010 Sunday Member: Mr.T.Narendran

Uniforms, school bags and food plates were distributed to children of HIV affected parents living ina Special home at Madurai run by the Pneuma Trust. The distribution programme started with self introductionby all the children followed by introduction by volunteers. A short motivation talk was given by me and latermaterials were distributed to all the children. Children after receiving the materials made an oath to keep thesematerials safe and clean. They were very happy to receive the materials and the Bag distributed had the nameof India Sudar printed on it. A small skit was performed by the children and then the programme was closedwith a prayer song by all the children. Project work cost: Rs. 15,037

Tuition Center at Lingapura Village, Hospet, Koppal district, Karnataka [IS Karnataka] Date: 19th May 2010 Wednesday Member: Ramaseshan & Raghavendra

India Sudar established as Learning Center in Lingapura Village,Hospet, Koppal District, Karnatakain 2008. We deployed a primary level Tuition teacher to help Govt. school children with their Class/Home work.This Tuition is for under-privileged students of Govt. school who cannot afford the regular Tuitions. This projectalso targets to provide individual attention to children who find it difficult to cope with the Classroomteaching/sessions. This is serving the purpose for which it was started and India Sudar will be continuing itssupport for the third year (2010).

Note Books Distribution to poor Students of St.John School,Pondicherry [IS Pondicherry ] Date: 19th June 2010 Saturday Member: K Balamanikandan

Indiasudar provided education materials to St Johns School students (only for poor students wholives in slum area of Pudhuchery). Our sincere thanks to school Headmistress Mrs.Ponrani who helped isidentifying the needy students and our member Mr.Matthew Robert who donated for this project.Project work cost: Rs. 15,037

Teacher Deployement at Dholeriya Jangir Village, Pali District, Rajasthan [IS Rajasthan ] As you know well, we created small team for Rajasthan to extend our service. As part of this initiative,

Mr.Radhe, Rajasthan IS Volunter visited to one of the rural Gov school and submitted the report/need/etc.Based on our team discussion(RJ Lead, Radhe, etc) we identified one teacher for this school to appoint.

Already this school Head master approved our project But we need to get approval fromDEO(District education officer) to deploy India Sudar teacher for this school. Already we submitted thedocument and Radhe trying to get this approval. Once this is done, we will initiative our activity In thisschool.
