ThedevicecreatesanelectromagneticfieldtopreventtheSkimmingDevicefrombeingableto record the Customer Data heldwithin themagneticstripontheCustomerCard.

Cash Trapping

To detect Cash Entrapment threats at the cash dispensershutterforWincorATM’s.TheASD-8alsodetectstheNCR“CashTrappingClaw”withoptiontoeitherreportorremovetheATMfromservice.

DrillingDetection

Strategicallypositionedsensorsplacedinternallyonthefascia.TheASD-8detectsdrillingattackswhere the criminal attempt to gain access totheATMHardware and allow them to placediscrete data capture devices on the Card Reader.Penetrationmatsareusedasopposedtovibrationsensorstoalleviatefalsenegativesassociatedwithtrafficnoise.

Card Entrapment

The ASD-8 monitors the card reader aperture for the introduction of malicious hardware,i.e.;LebaneseLoop.Thesystemwilldetecttheintroduction of any material, including nonmetalsintothecardreaderaperture.

The ASD-8 DIP protects the card’smagnetic strip details fromoverlayskimmingdevicesplacedontheATM,withoutinterferingwiththeATM’snormalcardreadingfunctions.

ASD-8 DIP has the same enhanced jamming technology asbuilt into theASD-8 formotorised readers.Enhanced jammingtechnologyisharnessedtoasensorarraythatdetectscardentry,card speed and card position for maximum protection. Thesystem’s functionality allows for ATM’s that read card data oninsertionorremoval.

Regular integrity checks ensure full system functionality. Uponintegrity check failure (e.g. Vandalism) the ASD-8 DIP has theabilitytotaketheATMofflinebyplacingitin‘SupervisorMode’andwilloutputaconstantjammingsignaltoprotectcustomersthatattempttousethemachinewhilecompromised.
