What is PLM?

PLM – Product Lifecycle Management is a web-based software ‘collaboration platform’ that manages the whole lifecycle of a product, including : data, people & processes related to it. It also provides visualization capabilities at all stages so that all ‘players’ have a better understanding of their product and all processes can run-concurrently. (for example, the marketing/packaging department can have accurate information as the design progresses, whilst still in the design department.)
