CLEAR SEAL is resistant to salt-spray, acids, alkali, water, ultravioletrays, and wet and dry abrasion. Thissealer formulation is specificallydesigned to provide excellentpenetration, flow and curecharacteristics. Highly recommendedfor exterior use.

USESa. Stamped Concreteb. Terrazoc. Kool Deck or Keystoned. Tennis Courts (Concrete Only)

    e. Shuffleboard Courtsf. Concrete Paversg. Overlaysh. Acid-Stained Concrete

    SPECIFICATIONS/COMPLIANCESSpications/Co ASTM C 1315, Type 1, Class A ASTM C 309, Type 1, Class A & B USDA compliant

LIMITATIONS/ PRECAUTIONSDo not use on wood surfaces.

Do not use on areas sensitive to solventattack.

Do not use on wet surfaces.CLEAR SEAL will deepen the color ofconcrete.Material will not freeze in storage butshould be allowed to rise to 50F(10C) or more before use.Excessive build-up of CLEAR SEAL orpuddling of the product duringapplication can lead to impropercuring, bubbling, and discoloration.Do not apply over curing compounds.

Do not apply when concrete surfaces orambient temperatures are below 50F,or if rain is expected within 12 hoursafter application.

Application in hot direct sunlight or when

concrete and/or air temperatures are 95F

(35C) and above can cause bubbling.Use with adequate ventilation and blockall HVAC ventilation ducts which maydistribute solvent odor. Keep awayfrom open flames. If solvent odor isobjectionable, the use of a water-based,low odor product, such asINCRETE WATER BASED CLEAR

SEAL, may be preferred.Do not apply over concrete that willreceive toppings, epoxy or urethanebased coatings or adhesives. Not resistant to gasoline or otherautomotive fluids.Do not thin this product. In all cases, consult the Material SafetyData Sheet before use.

APPLICATIONSurface Preparation: The concretesurface must be clean and free of

puddled or standing water. CLEARSEAL cannot be applied over othercuring compounds.

Preparation for existing concrete:All old paint, oil, and grease must beremoved. It is required that mostconcrete must be etched to create aporous surface. Etching should bedone with 5 parts water to 1 partMuriatic Acid Solution. Extremely hardor polished concrete may require asecond application with a strongersolution. Rinse surface thoroughlywith plenty of clean water and let dry

    completely.

Roller Application: Do not pourCLEAR SEAL directly on surface.Apply CLEAR SEAL at a rate not toexceed 300 ft

    2per gallon. Use a roller

pan or grid to remove excess sealer.A second coat should be applied afterthe first coat has completely dried, usually after a minimum of 1-2 hours. The first coat of CLEAR SEAL acts as aprimer for the second coat. Allow thefirst coat to dry tack free before

applying the second coat. Bestperformance and appearance isachieved with two coats, following theprescribed coverage rates.Additional coats will increase the surface

    gloss.

    Spray Application: Use an airless

sprayer with a medium tip size andvery low pressure. If conditions arewindy or extremely hot, adjusttechnique to avoid dry spraying thesurface. A second coat should besprayed after the first coat is dry.

Cleanup: Use toluene, xylene, orINCRETE SOLV-KLEEN for cleaningtools.
