DAY 1: WELCOME TO COPENHAGENUpon arrival at the airport you will be met by your coach driver for transfer to your hotel. Following check in at your hotel the remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at Scandic CPH Hotel or similar.

DAY 2: COPENHAGENFollowing breakfast at your hotel, meet your local guide and enjoy a 4hr panoramic city tour of Copenhagen in the comfort of your coach. Your views will include the Gefion Fountain, Amalienborg Palace and the Stock Exchange. Enjoy entry to Christiansborg Palace which is the seat of all three supreme powers of the nation; the executive, the legislative, and the judicia. Also enjoy a 45 minute canal cruise along the Copenhagen canals with a view of the Little Mermaid. The tour ends at your hotel and the remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at Scandic CPH Hotel or similar.

DAY 3: COPENHAGENAfter breakfast meet your local guide and enjoy a 5hr tour to North Zealand. Venture outside of the city and enjoy a visit to Frederiksborg Castle, built in Dutch Renaissance style at the beginning of the 1600s by King Christian IV, and end your visit with a tour of the beautiful Frederiksborg Palace Garden. Continue your touring with entry to Kronborg Castle made famous for Shakespeare’s Hamlet and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon return to the city centre and your hotel for an evening at your leisure. Overnight at Scandic CPH Hotel or similar.

DAY 4: COPENHAGEN - OSLOFollowing breakfast you will be transferred to the airport by coach for your flight to Oslo. Upon arrival in Oslo you will be transferred by coach to your hotel in the city centre. The remainder of the evening is at your leisure. Overnight at Thon Opera or similar.

DAY 5: OSLO - BERGENToday you will be required to leave your luggage at reception in the early morning for direct shipment to your hotel in Bergen. After breakfast this morning you will walk to the train station and embark the regional train for Myrdal. On arrival in Myrdal, you will change to the Flåm Railway, one of the world’s steepest railway lines on normal gauge. The Flåm Railway is one of Norway’s major and most spectacular tourist attractions, providing some of Norway’s wildest and most magnificent scenery. The village of Flam is in a sheltered position at the end of Aurland Fjord, an arm of the Sognefjord. Upon arrival walk to the nearby pier and enjoy a cruise along the Naeroyfjord to Gudvangen known for its steep mountains side and narrow passages. Upon arrival in Gudvangen, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your Bergen hotel. Overnight at Scandic Oernen or similar.

DAY 6: BERGENAfter breakfast you will meet your guide and enjoy a 3hr city tour by coach. Start the day with a brief walk along the UNESCO Bergen Wharf, one of Norway’s main attractions, before continuing to the Floien Funicular, and enjoy the cable car ride up Mount Floien, beholding a spectacular view of the city and surrounding scenery. Return to the city centre and tour its charming streets and see some of the city’s most famous landmarks, including Torgallmenningen, Grieghallen concert hall, Festplassen square and Bergen Theatre. Afterwards venture to Troldhaugen for entry to the former home of the great composer Edvard Grieg. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight at Scandic Oernen or similar.

DAY 7: BERGEN - HURTIGRUTENFollowing breakfast the day is free to explore at your leisure. In the evening check out of the hotel and transfer by coach to the pier. Embark the Hurtigruten cruise bound for Kirnenes. Full board is included throughout this stretch of travel (from departure time to arrival time, depending on hours of service) including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overnight at Hurtigruten in unspecified outside cabin or similar.

DAY 13: HURTIGRUTEN – KIRKENES - TROMSOEEnjoy breakfast on board before disembarking the cruise and transferring directly to the airport by coach for your flight to Tromsoe (flights not included). Upon arrival in Tromsoe you will meet your local guide and enjoy a 3hr guided tour by coach. The day includes entry to the Polaria Museum and a round trip with Fjellheisen Cable car to the mountain ledge Storsteinen. Enjoy the spectacular view of Tromsoe and the surrounding fjord before returning to Tromsdalen. After your arrival at the hotel three mainder of the evening is at your leisure. In the late evening you will be transferred by coach to the Arctic Cathedral to participate in the unique and magical Midnight ceremony. Return to the hotel by coach. Overnight at Scandic Ishavshotell or similar.

DAY 14: TROMSOE – LONGYEARBYENFollowing breakfast you will be transferred by coach to the airport. Upon arrival in Svalbard you will meet your driver for a private transfer to your hotel in Longyearbyen. Together with a local guide enjoy a historic walk in the centre of town as you learn more about the development and life in Longyearbyen and Svalbard. In the evening transfer outside of the town to Bolterdalen and the Trapper Station. Here 100 Alaskan Huskies will greet you a welcome! Learn about how the trappers lived, while they hunted seal and reindeer, in a replica of an old Trappers’ Station in Svalbard. Inside one of the buildings you will be served a lovely 2 course dinner inspired by the Trapper’s cuisine, while your guide tells you stories about their daily lives. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at Basecamp Hotel or similar.

DAY 15: LONGYEARBYEN – ISFJORD RADIOFollowing breakfast meet your guide at the hotel for your transfer to the pier to embark your vessel bound for Isfjord Radio. On the way you will stop by the bird cliff outside Bjorndalen before the journey continues to Barentsburg, an operative Russian mining town with 400 inhabitants. Here you will find the only cat on Svalbard. Walk the 270 steps that take

you from the harbour to the main street, then explore the little town one your own or with your guide. Afterwards continue onwards to Isfjord Radio where you will be greeted by your hosts. Enjoy a lovely two course lunch before you head out into the surrounding area with your guide for a 2hr hike. Upon your return the sauna will be heated and ready for you, or you are welcome to use the remaining time until dinner at your leisure. Enjoy a 4 course dinner. Overnight at Isfjord Radio.

DAY 16: ISFJORD RADIO – LONGYEARBYENFor the brave, enjoy an Arctic Sauna and a swim in the Arctic waters before breakfast. Today enjoy a hiking tour along the untouched nature of the coastline to a distant beach and a local walrus colony. Observe these extraordinary mammals from a close distance with the opportunity to take some wonderful, memorable photos. Afterwards enjoy lunch before you head back to Isfjord Radio. Embark your vessel and enjoy the return journey to Longyerbyen. Arrive at your hotel for an evening at your leisure. Overnight at Basecamp Hotel or similar.

DAY 17: LONGYEARBYEN - OSLOFollowing breakfast enjoy entry to a local museum where you will learn about the local history of Svalbard, as well as the flora and fauna of the island. Transfer to and from the museum will be on foot. In the afternoon meet your driver for a private transfer to the airport. Upon arrival in Oslo in the afternoon you will be met by your coach driver for transfer to your hotel. Check in for an evening at your leisure. Overnight at Thon Opera or similar.

DAY 18: OSLOFollowing breakfast you will be met by your local guide for a 6hr coach tour of Oslo that starts with a panoramic tour of the city centre. Continue to Vigeland Park which is part of Frogner Park. Sculptor Gustav Vigeland has created a display of over 200 copper statues including a 470-ton monolith which is now the park’s centrepiece representing the various forms and stages of human life. Enjoy a short stroll with your guide before visiting the Ski Museum and Jump Tower. The museum is the world’s oldest specialist in skiing and presents more than 400 years of skiing history, including Norwegian Polar history, snowboarding and modern skiing. Proceed to Bygdoy Peninsula and the Vikingship Museum. The three ships on display were found sunk in the Oslo Fjord and date back nearly 1200 years. The final stop of the day is a brief visit to the Fram Museum. The museum tells the story of the Norwegian polar exploration with the Fram vessel as the centre of the exhibition. The tour ends at your hotel. Overnight at Thon Opera or similar.

DAY 19: OSLO – RØROSFollowing breakfast you will have a walking transfer to the nearby train station where you will board the regional train bound for Røros. Upon arrival walk to your nearby hotel for check in, after which you will be met by a local guide and enjoy a 1-1.5hr walk through this charming wooden town. The guide service ends after the tour. Finish your day with a private beer tasting at a local microbrewery where you will learn about the local production, as well as enjoy some tastings. Return to the hotel for an evening at your leisure. Overnight at Bergstadens Hotel or similar.

DAY 20 – RØROS - GARDERMOENFollowing breakfast walk to the nearby station and embark your train toward Oslo, and the Gardermoen airport. Disembark at the airport for your flight home.
