DAY ONE – Depart the USA Today you’ll depart the USA on your overnight flight to Paris,France.

DAY TWO – ParisUpon arrival in Paris, transfer to your hotel. Your river journeybegins in Paris, the magnificent ‘City of Light’. Located in theheart of the Íle-de-France region, it’s the perfect place to beginembracing the French culture. The day is free for you to ex-plore on your own or just relax.

DAY THREE – Paris City TourAfter breakfast, you’ll enjoy an included panoramic tour of thiscapital city. DAY SIX – RouenToday you’ll visit the capital of the Upper Normandy region,Rouen. It is the historic capital of Normandy and was one ofthe most prosperous cities of medieval Europe, noted for its sur-viving half-timbered buildings and museums. On an includedwalking tour, discover the historic districts including Place duVieux-Marché, the historic town square that was the site whereJoan of Arc was burnt at the stake and today is dominated bythe church of Saint Joan of Arc. See the gothic Notre DameCathedral, one of the highlights of Rouen. Walk along the Ruedu Gros Horloge, the main street of Rouen, and see the amazingastronomical clock. The afternoon is free for you to visit muse-ums or meander through the lanes of this quaint city. (Breakfast,lunch, dinner and evening snack onboard)

DAY SEVEN – Caudebec-en-Caux / Etretat / HonfleurAwake in Caudebec-en-Caux, a town that has preserved the13th-century House of the Knights Templar and the Church ofNotre Dame. After breakfast, travel by coach to Etretat whereyou enjoy a guided walking tour. See the Castle of Aygues andthe 11th-century Church of Our Lady that houses a Cavaille-Coll organ. See the Old Market, the Manor of the Salamanderin the village center and villas nestled on the slopes. Beautiful,grand, and bright, the Cliffs of Etretat are known worldwide.Return to the ship in Caudebec for lunch onboard. This after-noon, travel by coach to Honfleur, a picturesque harbor town.Postcard perfect, Honfleur is characterized by its houses withslate-covered frontages which have appeared in many paintings,including those by Gustave Courbet and Claude Monet. Alocal guide will lead you on a walking tour as you meanderthrough the lanes of this charming town and see some of its his-toric buildings. DAY EIGHT – Full Day to NormandyOn the full day included tour to Normandy from Caudebec,you’ll see the now peaceful province of Normandy which is sovery different today than on June 6, 1944. See the sites whereOperation Overlord, one of history’s most decisive battles, ledby General Eisenhower, began with the Allied invasion of Ger-man-held Normandy. Travel to Pointe du Hoc, situated on theNormandy coast near Grandcamp-Maisy, with sweeping viewsof the English Channel from atop the cliffs. Drive to OmahaBeach and the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial inColleville-sur-Mer where thousands of white crosses mark thegraves of our military heroes. You’ll have free time during theexcursion before returning to the ship in Caudebec. (Breakfast, dinner and evening snack onboard) (Lunch)

DAY NINE – Les Andeles / Giverny Today, the ship arrives in Les Andeles. The included excursiontakes you to the village of Giverny. The Impressionist painterClaude Monet (1840-1926) bought a house in Giverny wherehe lived from 1883 until his death. See the workshop where hepainted the Nymphéas as well as the “pink and green” housewith Monet's personal collection of Japanese prints. The gardenclose to the house is the Clos Normand, reconstituted afterMonet's drawing. Enjoy the afternoon to explore on your ownin Les Andeles. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening snack onboard)

DAY TEN – ParisToday you’ll sail along the Seine enroute to Paris. In theevening you’ll gain a different perspective of Paris as you departon an ‘Illumination Cruise’ along the river aboard the MSAmadeus Diamond before returning to her mooring site in Parisfor the night.
