Trick or Treat so Others Can Eat: Wednesday, Oct. 25, 6:15 p.m. We’ll collect canned food items for a local food pantry. A great way keep focus on living missionally rather than receiving lots of candy. Children are encouraged to dress up in costumes. Parents or guardians are required to participate with their children. Email Annie Collins at [email protected] with questions or to help pass out flyers.
MOM 2 MOM: On Friday, Oct. 27 we will have our next MOM 2 MOM from 9 - 11:30 a.m. in The k. Come for light refreshments, a service project, time for spiritual growth and time to build relationships. Childcare provided for $4 per child or $10 max per family. Register for childcare by Oct. 25 to Pastor Jess, [email protected].
Pre-registration for the Preteen Mission Trip to Minneapolis, MN July 8-13 is happening NOW! Send an email confirmation or note to Pastor Jess ([email protected]) and a $50 Non-refundable deposit before Oct. 25. Total cost should be under $350 with fundraising/scholarships available. Final cost determined once we know how many are going.

Interested in traveling to the Czech Republic to teach English and share the love of Jesus to those who are un-churched? Informational meetings for this trip will be Sunday, Nov. 5 at 9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room and Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in the Gallery. Trip dates are June 27 – July 9, 2018. Cost is $2500. The Coffee Gallery team is currently accepting coffee donations (any brand, whole bean, regular flavor). Regular or decaf are welcome. We would also love to have groups (Life Groups, groups of friends, ministry groups, etc.) sign up to bring treats on Sunday mornings. Join us from 9:45-10:30 a.m. in the Choir Room on Oct. 22 and 29 as Brian Belden, PhD, Licensed Psychologist, offers the class Defusing Your Anger. He’ll give a brief overview of anger with discussion of strategies on how to keep yourself from exploding.
