CO/NXX SubcommitteeIssue 453: Forecast Improvements

• Sought to consolidate forecast submissions by SPs through NANPA by adding six-month forecasting data to FCC Form 502, thereby eliminating Thousands-Block Pool Forecast Report (Appendix 1).

• Suggested development of mechanized interface between NANPA and PA to permit PA to continue to manage/forecast the industry pool on a 6-month basis.

• Given that the suggested changes would impact FCC Form 502, the NAS and PAS number administration systems, as well as SP operational support systems, INC determined that existing processes and forms are sufficient in addressing forecasting needs.

• If the FCC considers changes to the FCC Form 502, INC would like to share its expertise and participate in the modification process.
