Methodology/Classroom Methodology/Classroom ProceduresProcedures Each week a specific subject matter will be lectured

during the first 2 hours of the class meeting. In the remaining part of the class hours, the student

is required to complete a given exercise, which is normally related to the topic of the week.

The student is expected to complete the studio exercise independently in the studio, while the instructors provide regular critique to her/him.

If the studio exercise can not be completed during the studio hours, the student can submit the exercise untill the beginning of the next course.

It is required that all of the design exercises of a student relate to the same building, which will be called here and then MASTER BUILDING.

For this reason the student is required to select or develop a MASTER BUILDING of his own during the first two weeks of the semester.

Page 7: INAR 342 FINISHING. INAR 342 : FINISHING Aim of the Course This course is designed to heighten the students understanding of the rules and principles

The requirements that the MASTER

BUILDING should fulfill are outlined below:

Any design that’s either previously done by the student as a course requirement, or

borrowed from any source of book, magazine or builder is acceptable as long as it fulfills these requirements
