PRESIDENT’S CORNER At Your Service
ere we are in a new season . . . summer! It is also a new season for the credit
union. We have adjusted our business hours to be more cost-effective in our operation. Hopefully, you have noticed our new ATMs, which are dispensing 5, 10 and 20 dollar bills. All of these changes have been done to provide better service to our membership. We will continue that effort.
Check out our various products – VISA Credit Card, Prepaid Debit Card and Checking account. As always, we are here to serve you as you have served us by being faithful and loyal to the Chicago Post Office Employees Credit Union.

FOOD DRIVE CONTINUES
e appreciate your participation. We have sent over 25 boxes of food
to the Chicago Food Depository. Once again, “Thank you.” Keep up the good work!
While on the subject, we want to share the following letter we received from the Executive Director of the Depository:
“June 17, 2011
Chicago Post Office Employees Credit Union
On behalf of all of us at the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the people we serve, thank you for your participation in the “One City, One Food Drive” campaign. Your time, energy and support make it possible for the Food Depository to ensure that the 678,000 hungry men, women and children in our community who turn to pantries, soup kitchens and shelters for emergency and supplemental food each year, will not go hungry... The 262 pounds of food that was donated through the Chicago Post Office Employees Credit Union food drive will provide more than 201 quality meals for the hungry in our community.
The problem of hunger in Cook County is too big for the Food Depository to handle alone. Fortunately, each year, thousands of individuals, corporations, and organizations join the Food Depository in the fight against hunger by organizing food drives to collect food that is needed in our community.
Thank you for joining in this community response to make a difference in the lives of your hungry neighbors. Because of you, someone will eat today.”
