FTC 60th Anniversary

Fuji Trading Co. - Japan welcomed our President , Mr. Saeed Al Malik and Vice President Mr. R. Hayashi) to the ceremony of its 60th Anniversary last May 2013 in Sendai—Japan. The event is to present the success, achievements and its evolution over the last 60 years.

ISSA EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING

“Mr. Saeed Al Malik, MEF’s President and the President of UAE Na-tional Ship Suppliers Association was on official visit to London/UK last May 2013 for attending the 6th ISSA Executive Board Meeting and Interna-tional Ship Suppliers Convention & Exhibition”. Mr. Malik is re-elected to ISSA Executive Board for a further term of three years as Executive Vice-President of ISSA. In addition, Mr. Saeed Al Malik will be attending the upcoming board meeting of ISSA which will be also held in London on September 2013.

UNSSA MEETING

with the PORT FUJAIRAH OFFICIALS

A delegation of U.A.E National Ship Suppliers Association ( UNSSA) represented by its Chairman Mr. Saeed Al Malik , Vice-President Mr. Peter Machado and Secretary Mr. Peter Venther-Jensen have visited Fujairah sea port on Thursday, April 25, 2013, and met the representatives of Fujairah port represented by Mr. Tamer Masoud (Harbour Master) where they discussed matters re-lating to ship supplying services in terms of applied procedure and difficulties faced by members of their organization and the possibil-ity of providing them with more facilities to enable them to process and complete their transactions timely and smoothly. The port offi-cials showed great understanding of all topics and proposals that have been discussed, where the meeting was positive and fruitful for both parties which serve the interest of country's economy and to set a high standard of safety and security.

Both parties have agreed to continue the mutual interactions and meetings between them in order to overcome all difficulties and find immediate and appropriate solutions for the same in the near future. It is worth mentioning that port of Fujairah is considered as the second largest port in the world in terms of volume of supply works and supply vessels services in the world.

Birth is a very noble memorable of life. The best thing that can happen on that day each year. It will not be completed without the celebration. Last July 4, 2013 MEF staffs bonded together to celebrate and wish all (Apr, May & June) celebrants a happy HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

SAFETY DRIVING

PRESENTATION

June 2013, Mr. Yamashita conducted 20 minutes of lec-ture & demonstration about Safety Driving in MEF Dubai of-fice. The said lecture gives tips & elements for safety driving that includes: daily check before riding vehicle, skill up your driving technique & knowing about vehicle. Even the safety loading of cargos showed as well as the seasonal tips of driv-ing like driving in the rain/fog.

The phone bill was excep tionally high and the man of the house called for meeting… on a Sunday morn ing… after breakfast…

Dad: People this Is unacceptable. OK I do not use this phone, I use the one at the of fice But You too have to limit the use of the phone.

Mum: Same here, I hardly use this home telephone as I use my work telephone.

Son: Me too, I never use the home phone. I always use my company mobile.

All of them now in a state of shock and together they look at their maid who until now is patiently listening to them.

Maid (un baffled): So – what is the problem? We all use our work tele phones!

A lady went to the po-lice station to file a re-port for her missing Hus-band: Lady: I lost my Husband Inspector: What is his height? Lady: I never noticed Inspector: Slim or healthy? Lady: Not slim can be healthy Inspector: Colour of eyes? Lady: Never noticed Inspector: Colour of hair? Lady: Changes accord-ing to season Inspector: What was he wearin?g Lady: suit/casuals I don’t remember exactly Inspector: Was some-body with him? Lady: Yes my Labrador dog, Calvin, tied with a golden chain, height 30 inches, healthy, blue eyes, blackish brown hair, his left foot thumb nail is slightly broken, he never barks, wearing a golden belt studded with blue balls, he likes non veg food, we eat to-gether, we jog to-gether…. And the lady started crying….. Inspector: Let’s search for the dog first!!!!!!!
