In This Issue A New Era Begins Extension Educator 4-H Youth Dev I started in the office on March 25 th 2014 and look forward to working with the great 4-H program here in Seneca County. I grew up in Fremont and spent 10 years in the 4-H program there. I have many fond memories of my years in 4-H and hope to inspire today’s members to create their own. My family lives in Liberty Center currently, which is 70 miles away. My apologies, if you have tried coming into the office to speak with me. I was probably travelling home to pick up my son from daycare. We hope to be moved closer to the area in another month. I have an open door policy and welcome suggestions and comments on how to make the best better. I want to improve the county website and start a social media page for the 4-H program. Please have patience this year as all of us in the office will be new to our positions. If soap and water are not readily available, use hand sanitizer until you are to wash with soap and water. For more information visit www.cdc.gov.

New Volunteers for 2014There is a new group of volunteers that will be announced next month. They need to finish the process which includes an interview and online training. Jason will be in touch with those that need to complete this process. Prepare now for some changes from the state regarding ALL volunteers. More information to come.

Forms Due:The pink species royalty applications are DUE June 15th not June 30th. There is a typo on the cover page of the application. Some groups have already scheduled their interviews for times before June 30th. Reminder: All Jr. Fair entries are due by June 1, 2014.
