Order guide

Besides our survey and installation service Easy Fit interior shutters are now

available for those who prefer to install their own. All our shutters are pre-hinged

with rebated edges to make installation easy. Frames which are pre-mitred allow

your shutters to fit easily into the required opening. The information in this guide

is useful, whichever installation you opt for, but if you have any questions our

sales team will be happy to help.

2. Type of shutter All our shutters are made in

frames of 28.6mm x 41.3mm.

Solid Solid shutters are

available in 4 different styles.

1. Give the location of the window you are measuring eg. Bedroom

Raised SR2 Moulded SM2

Shaker SS2 Solid base SRB

3. Shutter style Cafe The shutters cover the

bottom part of the window, giving

privacy whilst permitting light to

enter through the top.

Tier on Tier The design allows

top and bottom tiers to open

independently, offering a versatile

shutter combination. Split can be

at chosen height.

full HeigHT This traditional design

covers the window from top to bottom

to create a feeling of space and privacy.

A mid rail on panels over 1800mm high

allows the top and bottom louvres to

open independently. It is advisable for

panels over 2200mm to have two mid rails.

louvre Adjustable louvres are available in either

32mm, 47mm, 64mm, 89mm or 114mm slats.

Frames

If you choose to have an inside recess installation then

we recommend the Insert L frame. This is a great inside recess

option because it allows the fixing to be concealed. Our shutters

are fitted with 3/4 sided frames (sides and top) leaving your sills

free for use, or framing the shutter panels completely.

If you choose to install outside recess, you may require

a more decorative frame. For example the ‘50.8 Camber

Deco’ is a popular choice. A frame such as the Camber

Deco is useful if you have uneven windows as the wider

frontage can be utilised to square off the frame.

All measurements are in millimetres.

4. Shutter position and sizeShutters can be fitted to virtually any window or French/patio door. The shutters can be positioned either inside or

outside the window/door recess.

5. How to measure your shutters

Measure width and height of the recess in 3 places as shown and record the smallest measurement. If there is a difference

of 10mm between the 3 distances please contact us.

If your shutters are to be fixed inside the window recess

measure near the window frame, ensuring the shutter will

clear any obstruction ie. handles.

If your shutters are to be fixed outside the recess, using the

Deco frame, measure the distances on the outside of the

recess remembering to add the width for the frames.

Our custom made Classic and Vogue Venetian blinds share the same quality

and craftsmanship as our shutter range and look stunning in any setting,

contemporary or traditional. They are available in a wide range of stains,

paints and finishes – see insert.

Order guideFor your blinds

1. Give location eg. Kitchen

2. Type of Blind Classic blinds are available in either 35mm, 50mm or 64mm

slat widths; Vogue are available in either 50mm or 64mm slats.

3. Finishes Choose between cloth tape and ladder cord options to

co-ordinate or contrast with your slat colour.

We offer a choice of attractive head-rail colours including

brushed steel and copper.

4.Cost formula - blinds Inside recess - width x height (deductions will be made

if stated inside recess).

Outside recess - width (+50mm) x height ( + 25mm).

(A return facia will automatically be added to headrail).

6. Configuration Due to shutters being pre-hinged it is imperative that you

decide how the shutters need to open when ordering.

Hinges will be placed on the frame and shutters according

to your configuration instructions.

7. Fixings Hinges are available in white, pearl, bisque, antique brass, bright brass, nickel plated, stainless steel and black.
