In the province of Chimborazo, in the eastern mountain chain of the Andes, is the commune of Guarguallá Chico, an area of beauty and charm. The local tourist organization invites you to explore it. In Guarguallá Chico, members of ASARATY (the alliance of San Rafael, Tres Cruces and Yurac Rumi) combine their daily activities with tourist services in order to improve their economic situation, to protect the environment, and to avoid the loss of their own culture and identity

Day 1:Day 1:Day 1:Day 1: Transfer from Riobamba to Guarguallá, where you are welcomed by our local tour leaders. Accommodation in the "Quishuar Lodge", traditional supper of local products, cultural evening.

Day 2:Day 2:Day 2:Day 2: After breakfast, excursion either on foot or on horseback to Yuracrrumí, where

our tour leaders distribute the lunch boxes. After the midday pause, the circular excursion continues around the mountain and through the typical Páramo scenery with its natural vegetation There is viewing of the herds of alpaca. Weather permitting, the majestic condor can be seen in flight. Then the tour continues back to the village, to see how the women skilfully create handwork for sale as a contribution to the local economy. Evening meal, overnight in the "Quishuar Lodge"

Following a short rest on the summit, we descend to the campsite in Playas. Lunch, recuperation and the evening meal.
