Subject: IN-SEASON LIFEGUARD DRAFT (PAPER DRAFT)
IMPORTANT NOTIFICATIONCurrently, there are fulltime and
part-time positions open at Jones Beach, 2 Boatswain positions
atWBHP, PT & FT RM 3, FT RM 4 and 5, FT Hither Hills, Any
officer or lifeguard interested in
these positions orany other position that may occur as a result
of these positions being filled.
As a result of this draft, other opening will occur at the ocean
or still-water, either fulltime or part-
time. These openings may occur as a result of lifeguards and or
officers changing status or
dropping out. NOTE: THESE MOVES MAY CREATE OFFICER OPENINGS.
Requests must be submitted in writing or emailed to the Water
Safety Office by Sunday, June 23th,
4PM using the following format. (You can fill this in and send
it)

No Phone requests will be accepted.
Once the list is compiled, you will be re-assigned based on your
lifeguard draft pick number andyour request. This list will be left
open for the remainder of the season. Therefore, if you have
any intensions to move or take a promotion during the season,
this is your opportunity to do
so. Regarding Medicals and Temp Leaves SOME OF THE OPENING WILL
BE TEMPORAY
LEAVE OR MEDICALS. SO IF YOU WANT A PERMANENT SPOT YOU MUST
INDICATE
PERM ONLY, IF NOT YOU WILL BE PLACE IN A TEMP OR MEDICAL
SPOT.

NOT CURRENTLY OPEN; ONE MAY OPEN AS A RESULT OF A MOVE. WE

WORK OFF THIS LIST FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR. IF YOU HAVE
EVER
WANTED TO MOVE, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO HAVE IT ON RECORD FOR
THE
2012 SEASON. Moves go into effect Thursday, June 27th.
