Africa’s “BIG 5”- Plus More! Africa’s “BIG 5” represents safari royalty - they are the African lion, the African leopard, the African elephant, the Cape buffalo, and the rhino (either white or black).

The Great Migration!

The Wildebeest Migration, also known as The Great Migration, is rated as one of the world's most spectacular natural events. Every year over a million wildebeest, zebra and antelope migrate clockwise around the Serengeti, taking in two different countries and making time for birthing, courting and mating on the way.

“plus” the “one with the wind” sensations of absolutely no wind resistance will be one of the most unusual, enjoyable and rewarding travel achievements you will ever experience. This will be followed by an included game drive. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 8 – Serengeti National Park - to Ngorongoro Conservation Area After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a stop at the Olduvai Gorge en-route. As one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world, a resident guide will provide an interpretation of the gorge. Lunch will be provided after checking in to the lodge on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater which has the largest unbroken caldera in the world and has been described as one of the great natural wonders of the world. Almost every species of African plains mammal lives in the crater, including the endangered Black rhino. This afternoon, relax and enjoy the breathtaking views from the lodge before tonight’s dinner. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 9 – Ngorongoro Conservation Area Today’s adventure is a descent into the crater, in the game-drive vehicles, for a full day of game viewing. A photogenic paradise, an abundance of resident wildlife freely roams the plains of the crater floor while hundreds of bird species refresh in the small lakes. Unmatched for its natural variety and breathtaking beauty, there are few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exist in an area of this size. The crater is also of great archaeological importance with the remains of some of mankind’s earliest ancestors discovered in the area. Return to your lodge late afternoon with time to relax before dinner. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 10 – Ngorongoro Conservation Area - to Tarangire National Park After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. An exciting game viewing drive takes place this afternoon. Herds of elephants scratch the dry bed of the Tarangire River searching for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. It's the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord for predators – and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope, such as the stately Fringeeared oryx and peculiar Long-necked gerenuk, are regularly observed. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 11 – Tarangire National Park to Amboseli National Park Enjoy an early morning breakfast before departing via the Namanga border to Amboseli National Park where you check in to the lodge and enjoy lunch. On this afternoon’s game-viewing drive, you have the opportunity to see buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle, hippo and wildebeest among many other inhabitants of this national park. With over 400 species of birds, flora and fauna, it’s also a bird-lovers paradise. This evening, enjoy dinner at the lodge. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 12 – Amboseli National Park A morning and afternoon game-viewing drive are in store for today.

absorb the vibrancy of East Africa and all the adventures and amazing experiences that await!

DAY 3 – Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park After breakfast, depart for a drive to Lake Nakuru and a brief stop at the Rift Valley view point. Continue on to your lodge, arriving in time for lunch. This afternoon, the safari adventure begins with the first game-viewing drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Prides of lion, Cape buffalo, waterbucks, wart hogs, the endangered Rothschild giraffe, black & white rhino, Burchell’s zebra, impalas, and the elusive leopard are among the many species of animals that make this park their home. After the safari, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 4 – Lake Nakuru National Park - to Masai Mara Game Reserve After a hearty early morning breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival at the intimate Tipilikwani Camp, you are greeted with a warm welcome and lunch. This afternoon, depart on an exciting game-viewing drive of the Masai Mara. Rolling plains and grasslands, stretching as far as the eye can see, are home to the Blackmaned lion, Savannah (African) elephant, Cape buffalo, wildebeests, cheetah, hyena, rhino, topi, Burchelle’s zebra and Masai giraffe. Have your camera ready…the Mara game reserve is one that can never disappoint! After an exciting game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 5 – Masai Mara Game Reserve Today is a full-day adventure on the Masai Mara Game Reserve as you keep a lookout for the “big five:” lion, Savannah elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard and the Black rhino. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai manyatta (village) and experience the culture of this world famous community where the Masai still live as they have for centuries. Interact with these nomadic people and experience their way of life. Return to camp for dinner and overnight. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 6 – Masai Mara Game Reserve - to Serengeti National Park It’s time to leave Kenya and travel to Tanzania via the Isebania &

Sirari border where your driver/guides will assist with immigration procedures. During the drive, a picnic lunch will take place. The world famous Serengeti National Park covers an area of 5700 square miles, is Tanzania's oldest park, and one of the world's last great wildlife

refuges. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, including more than 2,500 lions and over one million wildebeests. Arriving at our Serengeti lodge, we will check-in and enjoy included dinner. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 7 – Serengeti National Park After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full day of game viewing drives on the Serengeti plains. ‘Serengeti’ is derived from a word meaning ‘the place where the land runs on forever,’ and the vast national park remains true to its name. Aside from being spoiled by the variety of wildlife and bird species of the Serengeti, its landscapes stunningly beautiful, especially in the early morning and late evening light. Elephant, buffalo, lion, rhino, zebra, giraffe and others may be spotted during your Serengeti adventure.
