PIANC’s goal is to advance the sustainable development of shallow and deep-draft navigation issues including dredging and dredged material disposal, navigation and port infrastructure, recreational navigation and related environmental matters.

PIANC, the World Association for Waterborne, Transport and Infrastructure, and The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) proudly announce they will co-host the 34th PIANC World Congress 2018 in Panama City, Panama.
May 7 to 12, 2018The PIANC World Congress 2018 will present and discuss the most relevant topics to the waterborne transport infrastructure sector. Themes/Topics
Each abstract must be written in English and lmited to 1,000 words. Abstracts shall be submitted online at:http://congreso.micanaldepanama.com
Deadline for abstract submissions: September 15, 2017
When submitting your abstract:Choose the theme/topic from the available list that best fits your presentation.
Provide the required contact information (name, Company, business address, pone and email) for the presenting author and any co-authors. Also indicate who you expect to make the presentation at the conference.
Submit a text-only summary description (limited to 1,000 words) of the presentation.
Submit a statement about why the presentation will be of interest and benefit to conference attendees.
Prospective authors must recognize that submission of an abstract indicates commitment to attend the conference to make the presentation. ACP will accept or reject proposed presentations based on the information provided in the abstract. To the extent posible and appropriate, presentations will be assigned to conference technical sessions based on the theme identified by the autor. ACP reserves the right to assign presentations to other conference sessions.

All expenses associated with the preparation, submission and presentation of abstracts are the responsability of the authors.
