1st Australian Conference CONFERENCE ITINERARY *Tentative and subject to change Friday, March 13 8.30am – 12.30pm The IAOPCC offers an incredible Pet Cremator Operator Certificate Course. This will be the first time that this course has been offered outside of America. The IAOPCC offers this course online for a cost of $595 US to non-members. As a special for our conference you and members of your team can do this course in person for half the usual cost. We are offering a special price of $395.00 for the first person from your business and $295.00 for any additional person from the same company. The course will be facilitated by Mr. Robert Erdman of Precious Pets Cemetery in Oklahoma, and Mr. Keith Shugart of Deceased Pet Care Funeral Homes in Atlanta, Georgia, both third-generation pet funeral directors in America. When you have successfully completed this course, you will receive a certificate from the IAOPCC as being a certified Pet Cremator Operator. Your business will be able to state that you have a certified pet cremator operator in your company. 9.50am – 11.00am What is happening around the world with the pet cremation industry?The world is a big place and the pet cremation industry is growing at a rapid rate. The industry has always been small family owned pet crematoriums. Now we are seeing large companies and corporations entering into the industry. Find out what the pet cremation industry is like in other countries and what we might be able to learn from them. A panel made up of four industry leaders from three countries will be on hand to answer all your questions.

Industry experts and crematorium owners will tell you what systems are available on the markets and how a fully integrated tracking system will help your business. See how these systems can work to help your business and ask any questions of business owners who have been using computer tracking software for years.

Saturday night is your time to enjoy the Gold Coast night life

Pet Crematorium and Cemetery tours Today we will be boarding a bus and visiting two of Queensland’s largest pet crematoriums. At both crematoriums you will be able to see two different styles of cremators working. The manufacturers will be on hand to explain their machines and to answer any questions you may have about the cremation process, ash processors and other services they offer. They are arguably the two biggest suppliers of pet cremators to the industry in Australia. There will never be a better time to hear the facts and figures directly from the manufactures.

9.00am Meet at the lobby of the hotel to board the buses to go on our crematorium tours

10.00am Tour of Pets in Peace pet crematorium at Loganholme.Have a tour of the offices, viewing rooms mortuary and crematorium facilities. See the range of urns on display. Ray Moore from R & Y Engineering will talk you through the workings of his style of pet cremation units and show you his machines operating. Talking Stones will also have a presentation on their entire range of products.

Morning tea will be provided before boarding the bus again

11.30am Board the bus to head to Pets Eternal

12.15pm Arrive at Queensland’s oldest pet cemetery and crematorium Pets Eternal formally known as “ The Pet Cemetery “ Tour the beautiful grounds, see many different headstones, and tour their facilities. You will see a B&L cremators in operations and they will be there to explain their pet cremation units and answer any of your questions. Lunch will be served in the grounds of Pets Eternal before we board the bus to head back to the Gold Coast.

3.00pm Arrival back at our hotel For those who will be staying on the Gold Coast for the Sunday night we will be having dinner and wine tasting if you wish to join us at Labrador. There will be a small cost, but the night will be of value (we promise!).
