EXAMPLES OF INNOVATION:1. For our high speed internet services for condominiums

which have a high growth and potential, before that Company had “learned from mistakes” happened in single house and townhouse projects. Those projects had much higher costs due to longer wiring connections. We did not give up and started trials by providing services for 9 condominiums, before “leveraged from right actions” expanding to more than 400 condominiums as of today.

2. Company had “learned from mistakes” for our internet solutions in hotel industry. Although we had experiences in providing solutions for big hotels, it was not suitable for medium - sized hotels. We had to control the cost by installing broadcasting devices with the longer distance which left some points in the room with poor internet signal. Company then “leveraged from right actions” by bringing internet solutions for condominiums to use in medium - sized hotels. The costs are lower and we able to install devices in all rooms which consequently providing good internet signal throughout.

INNOVATION OVERVIEWCS LOXINFO cannot take advantages of benefiting from the principle of economy of scale due to our smaller network

unlike other big companies in telecommunications industry. Thus, we strongly believe innovation is the sustainable key success factor in digital economy where technologies will disrupt everything else.

From the leading internet provider, Company has evolved into a leading ICT provider in the country by focusing on customer requirements and creating innovation under “3C” concept.

Company believes that innovations play a huge role in every organization in the country, regardless the value of innovation investment.

We encourage executives and employees of all levels to freely do something new without fear of making mistakes.

They can start from field practicing with small scale and low investment, but showing fast result. The mistakes will not cause high impact and everyone can “learn from mistakes and leverage from right actions.”

Cloud Computing and Business Continuity Management (BCM). Wi th these, o rgan iza t ion can continue using server systems, external & internal network without interruption.

CREATEDeveloping solutions together

with high potential customers or business partners as Best Practice; subsequently, adopting the same solutions to similar profile customers, especially in the same industry such as online software for hotel, internet service for hotel.

LEARN FROM MISTAKES

Mistakes are learning opportunities, not the punishment, but should not cause high impact.

LEVERAGE FROM RIGHT ACTIONS

Leveraging right actions to gain maximum benefits.

3. Cloud system has recently gained popularity among local organizations. Company had “learned from mistakes” from our Public Cloud solutions which were the customer’s initial needs. The costs of thereof were reasonable, but unable to fulfill customer’s specific need. While Company has a skillful engineer team specializing in Private Cloud capable of meeting specific need but costly, Company then “leveraged from right actions” by providing Hybrid Cloud services using the perfect mix between Public and Private Cloud solutions.

PRACTICES FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION QMR - Quality Management Representatives review customer satisfaction survey on a quarterly basis and provide suggestions

on how to improve service quality, as well as how to resolve customer complaints. Customer Complaints Handling - Company has set customer complaints procedure which is one of Quality Procedures (QP)

of ISO 9001:2000. This is to resolve customer complaints through various channels. The complaints solutions are solutions for inconvenience services, services procedure, services quality and services staff.

BUSINESS INNOVATION: HYPER-CONVERGED INFRASTRUCTURE

Hyper - Converged Infrastructure is the combination of Server, Storage and Storage Network. HCI’s prototype technology is Software Define Data Center and Software Define Storage.

SOFTWARE DEFINE DATA CENTER AND SOFTWARE DEFINE STORAGE

This is a concept of software development to manage storage through storage virtualization. Managing and preparing storage will no longer be attached to the hardware. Everything is done through Software Define Storage by Data Tearing and Policy Management. To explain in short, we bring Software to cover the Storage or Disk and manage through software without any restrictions on hardware brand anymore.

SDS, STORAGE VIRTUALIZATIONThe principle is to make Storage Virtualization to store

data as a pool storage and control data through Physical Storage Controller for the ability to use Physical Disk and Disk Array.

FEATURES OF SOFTWARE DEFINE STORAGE OF STORAGE SERVICE Dynamic Tiering is the management of data with

Query by using a software to prioritize data. This will reduce the burden of data access and optimize performance of data within the Storage (automatic optimize performance)

Caching is a temporary storage area in order to swiftly access data. This feature reduces the cost of using Flash storage (Do not have to buy a full system Flash).

Replication is to increase the number of choices of data protection. In principle, it should be Local Replication and Disaster Recovery (Replication outside of Data Center).

Quality of Service (QoS) is the prioritization of information in terms of storage service. This will allow to distinguish different types of works (such as Exchange, SQL, VDI) to be used effectively on storage.

Snapshots is a process of point - in - time to back up and recover data promptly in case of emergency.

Deduplication is to reduce the size of data that need to be stored in Logical which helps to reduce the amount of space required. Technology of Deduplication is varied by brand. The principle is to reduce blocks of information that must be written in the disk (Block Level)

Compression is to compress data into a smaller size. The difference there of from Deduplication is that Compression is performed at the File Level.

Cloning is a replication, for example, an automatic replication of a large number of virtual desktops, Market Group clustering (SDS Storage Virtualization vs. SDS Cluster File)

Using through Single Software Portal (Deploy, Configuration, Customize)

Gaining benefits of Virtualization Effective performance on price comparing to

Performance per IOPs Single SKU

OBJECT STORAGEObject Storage is a data storage system that manages

data in form of an object, rather than original file or block. It is using Metadata that constitutes the object to quickly search and find correct information. Object Storage is also developed to prevent data loss and leverage the ability to build Version Control and the independent data transfer between physical hardware or even create a cluster. All data is always backed up and available with built - in data protection. This will increase efficiency altogether.

On the other hand, by looking at data as an object, the data retrieval can be done as retrieving an object through API. The popular Object Storage retrieval is through REST S3 API on HTTP / HTTPS and OpenStack Swift API. This creates flexibility in implementations.

Highlights of Object StorageIt has an embedded data prevention loss system with

supports for Hashing, Self - Health checking & repair, DPL, Data Retention, Cluster and backup or extra protection in a variety of formats. Through the Object (File & Metadata) Management, this will reduce the need for a backup, making it easy to use in several ways. Also, it is freely supporting Unstructured Data storage, such as Log, File, Document, MS SharePoint, Email, Voice, and more. This is catching up with Big Data Analytics trends and flexible applications. It can increase the space, efficiency and stability of the system, making it worthwhile to use in the long run.

ECONOMIC ASPECTCurrently, Thailand is moving towards Digital Economy

“Thailand 4.0”. New economic structure called New Economy Model has applied “Sufficient Economy Philosophy” and is a transformation from an economy that focuses on labor, machinery and resources productivity, to the one that relies on knowledge and technology to boost country’s economic growth. The technology and innovation are the driving forces for the economy by increasing value of goods and services. When Company is entering Thailand 4.0, there are various technologies that have played significant role in this change. For example, a machine which is able to communicate through 3D Printing, transforming imagination into tangible objects. Robot will work with human as one normal colleague. In addition, Information Technology, “IT” will become an intermediary of effective communication between human and machines and among machines. This technology will completely change production model for greater production efficiency and fulfill diverse needs of consumers.

CS LOXINFO has responded to Digital Economy “Thailand 4.0” policy with comprehensive ICT services which are internet, computer and communication. There are five Community ICT Centers which are located in Ban Pa Meang of Pan district, Ban Pai Pae, Ban Sa, Ban Sa Pae and Ban Tung Hang of Chae Hom district in Lampang province. We began to explore geographic area and select communities whose people are ready to participate and have the strong leaders. We started by coordinating the installation of AIS network for using WiFi in the computer room and communication within community. Then we gradually provided computer equipment, projectors, audio devices, and televisions. We also set up learning courses tailored to the need of each community. If that community has a cooperative shop, we also implemented an inventory counting system by using barcode system and developed a software for retail trading by partnering with teachers and students from the Faculty of Software Engineering, Lampang Rajabhat University. In addition, we have continuously monitored and reviewed the systems.

THE RESULTS UPON THE CHALLENGES: THE BETTER CHANGES.

“We have to admit that in the past 10 years, the seeds of our collaboration between our networks and communities have grown and become a full blossom that shows our determination and our effort for the developments. Having networks like this is like having a lubricant that smoothens the working of the mechanism in case of interruptions, making the developments become successful.”

GOALS FOR SETTING UP ICT CENTERS To reduce disparity between urban and rural societies To raise awareness of value and benefits of technology

occupations, living in the community, local knowledges and Community Content Creation, as well as to promote the life which follows “Sufficient Economy Philosophy”.In 2017, the usage of ICT community centers has been

constantly increased by 60%. One of the centers was used to find information from Internet to build a GPS system for checking natural resources. The center users have created community websites to promote tourism and sell local products from their communities. Community leaders have pushed and promoted digital economy after the government has introduced ICT system for community development and The communities have become a digital community where e - Commerce are taking place. This has generated revenue back to the community itself. The development of people gradually continued, until today communities are able be sustainably responsible for equipment maintenance costs, monthly internet bill, electricity bill used in the community ICT centers. (From 2016 -2017, maintenance cost, monthly Internet bill and electricity bill of the total five communities are in the total amount of 106,500 Thai baht annually.)

SATISFACTION SURVEY ON 29TH OCTOBER 2017 People have self - developments, gain knowledges and

have more potential. This creates self - esteem and awareness in the current world, where there is economic competitions. The communities can perceive accurate and all - round information, as well as have access to critical information.

The project is opening up people to the world and create opportunities in fully and equally accessing to information technology and communication. People are aware of community concerns.

People are aware of the increasing public service delivery (e - Services) channels that can reduce energy consumption depending on their choice of services.

The communities has computer centers for learning ICT that can access and utilize tons of information. This is the source for finding information in the community and allowing people to exchange knowledges and experiences among communities.

The centers have become a center of the community. Children and youths are sharing knowledges, experiences and activities with one another.

The project created job opportunities for communities and generated income. The communities can serve as a channel for distributing community products, including OTOP products. They can also exchange products between communities, as well as increase marketing channels.

THE POWER OF ICT BRINGS CHANGES TO COMMUNITIES

“Baan Tunghang is very much in a remote area surrounded by mountains. We lived in the area where there was had no mobile signals. Back then, it was very difficult to disseminate news or information to the villagers because I had to travel to other villages for the mobile signals. I was very much discouraged by that. And then one day, the Office of Non - Formal and Informal Education and CS LOXINFO have worked together to set up the communication network for us. Our lives have never been the same. Now, we have mobile signals and Internet connections. Our children have access to Internet at the ICT Community Center. They can search for information on educational programs they wish to pursue after graduation. We feel fortunate for that. Unlike in the past when I had to drive a car to meet with each of my village committee members, now, I can just connect with them through LINE to make a schedule for a meeting. It is really time and cost - effective”.

In 2016, after the community leaders have persuaded housewives in their community to gain benefits from the ICT Centers, ICT system has become a digital community. Housewives and youth gain benefits from using Facebook, Instagram and community websites as channels for selling products under the project “Share and Learn Activity for Community Through”. We funded the training by hiring students from the Faculty of Software Engineering, Lampang Rajabhat University which is already our partner in software development, as well as familiar with people in the community to teach and share knowledges. Students help each community to broaden viewpoint towards online trade channels and the trendy marketing. They showed people the importance of social media, made everyone understand the structure of Facebook Page and provided them with facts, cautions and restrictions. In addition, the students also explained them the difference between Facebook Page and personal Facebook page and guide them to build a Facebook Page and test the trading post. Photography techniques are also provided through training. Students have been closely giving continuous advices to the housewives in the community up until now. (In 2017, five communities have had Facebook Pages, earning 40% from online sales compared to that of 2016.)

In 2017, we have been supporting the communities by purchasing their products, as well as developing packaging and labeling together with the community. Products are Ban Sa rice products, Ban Pa Miang tea leave products, Ban Pa Meang coffee products and Ban Pa Meang cotton products. We put these products in the new year gift hampers given to customers with the aim to promote local knowhow to international (Local Yet Global) and local communities The products show their self - reliance and creativity (Self -Reliance - Creativity). The “product” does not refer to a product alone, it is also a thought process that reserves Thai Wisdom in exchange and creates the quality products with safety in using chemicals during production process.

PA MIANG COFFEE “EATABLE KNOWLEDGE”

Currently, the market for fermented tea products has declined, so villagers turned to grow more coffee trees. The annual production of coffee has been increased. Youths have realized the importance of processing coffee beans into roasted coffee which highly marketable, so they have formed up community enterprise group under the name of “Pa Miang Coffee Processing Product”. The group has started processing coffee beans into roasted coffee. This has been generating income and developing career within community, consequently youths do not need to migrate to work in other regions.

We gave scholarships to youths’ leaders and new generation members of “Pa Miang Coffee Processing Product” group by sending them to learn the whole process of the production from planting coffee, selecting, keeping, roasting and processing into products and services. We also have joined in packaging selection and labels design, as well as developed online distribution channels with the community. We bought these products to put in the new year gift hampers given to customers. We expect “Pa Miang Coffee Processing Product” group to be able to reduce coffee production costs and increase the quality of coffee. We give emphasis to increase value of coffee products by promoting coffee processing and making it a community product which we target to meet international standards. (In 2017, the company has purchased products from the community in the amount of 350,000 Thai Baht. “Pa Miang Coffee Processing Product” sold 52% better after receiving working capital upon selling products.)

SOCIAL BUSINESS “COMMUNITY CENTER, THE SOURCE OF COMMUNITY INCOME”

“CS LOXINFO granted us the scholarships to learn the arts about coffees. I think that has so much benefits and can improve our making of the coffee products, such as making them a better taste. As a resident of Pa Miang, I wish to make our coffee famous worldwide and make it a source of sustainable revenues for our villagers and community for generations to come.”

“READING CREATES LIFE, BRING IDEAS TO COMMUNITY”

The survey of the Office of the Basic Education Commission found that there are over 50,000 of schools and small communities in Thailand lacking learning centers. This has caused the lack of educational opportunities. Academics have shown according to the analysis information that the first problem in Thai education is the deficiency of educational equipment and learning tools, especially in remote communities. That’s why we have implemented SMART CLICK: Read for Life, Bringing Ideas to the Community with hope to fulfill the missing part and to maximize the benefits for communities and schools in the remote areas where there is scarcity. We support education for Thai children and young people who live in the remote areas by providing them quality learning media. We also promote good reading habits for Thai children. This will help them to develop mental capacity, to grow up with good qualities and to be ready to face the world with potential. Our goals are To fulfill community people needs in reading To organize activities which help to develop intelligence

and reading habits of people in the community To provide bookcases for community and supply books

for bookcases as needed To spread knowledge and technology to new generations

At the end of 2017, Company has donated 16 bookcases and books to 8 communities. Also, we have given scholarships in the total amount of 50,000 Thai Baht to “Activists of Intelligent Book House”, who are teachers of the Office of Non -Formal and Informal Education of Cheh Hom district. Teachers have been organizing “Love Reading Activities on Saturday and Sunday”. As of 2 December 2017 there has been a total of 248 youths, leaders and people in the community participating in the event since 1 December 2017.

“Book House is a brainchild of the government policy that focus on the importance of reading and its benefits for individuals, families, and society. Since 2013, our Office of Non - Formal and Informal Education has been implementing this policy until we have Community’s Book Houses. We planned to have a book house to be situated in at least the half of the number of villages in our district. The selection of the house was made by teachers and community leaders. In supporting the policy, the government provides at least 25 newspapers and magazines to the community. However, they are not enough. Then CS LOXINFO came in and supported this project, making the houses more interesting. This has resulted in more visitors and the visitors can learn from what they read for the personal, family and society developments. Most importantly, a wide range of books available in the houses can help improving the learning and development skills of our children. Those books are the sources of diverse knowledges. They are like a recipe that teach us how to cook to suit each of our own tastes.”
